Absolutely loved Fibis NYC Street Food. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and the customer service was outstanding. everyone was friendly and encouraging, which made my first visit even better.
The menu is diverse and appealing, especially if you’re trying something new. I ordered the chicken rice platter, and it was incredibly flavorful and generously portioned and honestly enough for two meals coming from a person with a bigger appetite than your average joe. It came with plenty of rice and chicken, plus tasty fries and fresh veggies that balanced everything well.
I also tried the chicken sliders (3 per order), which were cooked perfectly, savory, well-seasoned, and not overly salty like many other places. For dessert, I had the Biscoff cookie cheesecake, and it may genuinely be one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had.
Food came out quickly, the dine-in space is great for groups, everything is halaal (huge plus), and the quality is top-tier. It’s slightly on the pricier side, but the portions and quality make it well worth it. Highly recommend for a family/friend setting or even just a quick individual meal. I tried my best to again be fair and critical and not seem too biased or favoring, but this place checks all the boxes for being a well distinguished and rising business. There’s no reason not to at least check them out for yourself.

Fibis NYC truly impressed me with both the quality and flavor of their dishes. The lamb shank was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned — it literally fell off the bone and had an incredible depth of flavor. The smash burger was equally outstanding, with a perfect sear, melted cheese, and that rich, smoky taste that makes it unforgettable. I loved the restaurant that used to be here. So while sad in its departure, I wanted to support the new location out of respect. This review will be after my second time going. Both experiences were positive. My mother who does not like eating out, said the pita-dilla was delicious. I agree, definitely worth the try. I’m so curious what the red sauce was, a real good amount of spice. I’ve ordered the meat over rice two times now, each time you open the box and it’s overflowing! I swear, they use every bit of the box and fill it with food. I truly cannot recommend this place enough, I will without a doubt be returning a third time and hopefully many more. God willing❤️

I had an amazing experience at Fibi! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The service was fast and the staff were excellent—friendly, welcoming, and even surprised us with some free food. The restaurant is very clean with plenty of space to sit and enjoy the meal. Amazing little place for the NYC style cuisine popularized by halal guys but with a more South Asian and sit down appeal. The restaurant seating is cozy, but the decor is bright and exciting. A hallway leading to the back with more couples style seating reminds of European cafes but also keeps one out of the line of traffic of the To-go crowd.
The lam dishes will transport you from the quaint suburbs of Detroit to those alleyway food stops all around the subcontinent as the scents and flavors engulf you. Truly an elevated experience when compared to the gas station adjacent plaza that houses this under the radar establishment. Highly recommend

Great ambiance and outstanding food! The cuisine was exceptional, especially the combo platter. The steak platter was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The owner personally prepared grilled chicken tandoori with mandi rice, and it was absolutely delicious. Mariyam and Fatimah at the front desk provided excellent service with warm smiles throughout our visit. We’ll definitely be coming back—this place is truly one of the best.

Single smashpatty burger: comes with American cheese, tomato, lettuce, Mayo, ketchup. You can add onion and pickles for free. Taste is good, patty could be a bit juicier and more burger customizations should be offered.
Jalapeno poppers: really good ! Store ladies were kind enough to offer me all 4 sauce samples for free ! Here’s what they are and my rankings:
1. Green sauce = cilantro paste+oil…very earthy and feels naturally delicious
2. Chipotle = very smoky
3. White sauce = strong herby ranch
4. Red sauce = tomato-chili paste, but not hot at all

Food was excellent, staff super friendly, wait time entirely reasonable. I ordered the grilled chicken pitadilla and mac and cheese. The pitadilla was not only incredible, but huge too. I couldn’t finish it. The Mac and cheese was also great, could maybe use some crunch to it but not a complaint. Will absolutely come back.
