Cheerful sushi and Thai spot with a solid choice of noodle dishes (Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles) and sushi/sashimi choices for lunch. You can make reservations for omakase for dinner, which I can’t wait to do. Highly recommended by a Vero local as are the Thai curries. I think the prices are reasonable for the quality and size of entrees. Cocktail menu looks really fun.

My son (a chef at a different restaurant in Vero) took me to Mai Thai Bistro for an Omakaze experience. I’ve been looking forward to going there when I visited from out of town. This place did not disappoint! The tasting menu of little sushi masterpieces was exceptionally delicious and fun! The chef was gracious, charming, and knowledgeable. He created such luxurious tasting offerings. Each course was sumptuous- toro, uni, waygu beef, and more. The courses were artistic, and imaginative. The sauces were perfect, and the garnished were pretty and also added another layer of flavor. Each was balanced with savory, spicy, salty, and umami flavors. It was a bucket list experience!

Our server Beam, was so friendly and helpful and accommodating! He offered to take our group photo. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and when things were not as I expected he quickly offered to redo my order! The food was amazingly fresh and so very good! 10 out of 10 experience!

Overall, the food is delicious. My husband and I used to love Krazy Fish in downtown Fort Pierce. I would say the quality of Mai Thai is the same as Krazy Fish, but the rolls are just over half of the size for the same price. The food comes to the table quickly. We visited once and loved it and decided to go back for my birthday last week. My only true complaint would be that my husband found a bone in his nigiri. He informed the waitress but there was no offer to inform the chef or switch out the piece.

We had an online pick up order so I can’t attest to the service or atmosphere of a dine in experience. However, I can say that our order was ready as soon as we walked in on Saturday afternoon. On a previous dining attempt, the wait was over an hour in the evening so be aware of that. There is a lunch menu but it isn’t available on the weekends. That is definitely unfortunate and something I hope will change one day. Otherwise the food was good and the portion size was favorable for sure. There is parking in the back so check that out if the front lot is full. I would certainly recommend giving this place a try!

A friend of ours told us about this place and ever since then this is my wife and I favorite place for sushi. We will pick out three different rolls and that is more than enough for us to share. Iv had sushi at all the places in town and this one makes them perfect. The staff is super friendly and quick. Even on a busy night they are moving fast.

We ate here this evening for the first time …. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! From our appetizers to our main dishes, drunken noodles with shrimp and pineapple rice with chicken. Everything was top shelf, spot on! Absolutely wonderful service too! The drinks were delicious also. Very generous portions and very reasonably priced. We are so happy and will be back very soon! Thank you!
