I work in Hazelwood and this place was highly recommended by our team. This is my first time here and I had a late lunch. I liked the atmosphere, the staff was pleasant, and the menu had a lot of choices. I picked an option recommended by the server. It came hot and tasted great. The prices are very reasonable for the portions. I read a number of reviews and I like businesses where the owners read and comment on the reviews… It shows they care about what people think. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

The worst fish I’ve ever had in my 65 years of life!!! Jiffy cornbread hush puppies, frozen overly breaded and freezer burnt shrimp, Fish too much breading also came out of the freezer section in a grocery store. Coleslaw was ok. Tartar sauce and cocktail sauce had zero flavor. The horseradish must have been somewhere else cause it damn sure wasn’t in the cocktail sauce. PATHETIC!

I had some high hopes, but they werent met. The place was packed, and we sat in the back kitchem area. Probably not a good thing watching the cook make out food. Its bar food. I got a patty melt, which didnt come with sauce. My fiance got a BLT, which was “ok”. The server was slammed, and was a bit slow. We had to ask for our bill after 15 minutes of our meal being done.
If we lived in the neighborhood, it could be a good neighborhood “pop in” place. But I wouldnt go out of my way for it.

Henke’s is a great place to go and visit with friends and family. They have a decent sized menu for a small bar and pricing is not bad at all! Food and service is ALWAYS excellent, the environment is welcoming and fun. Henke’s overall is a 10/10 and I highly recommend visiting! You will NOT regret it!
