We went in today. A particular worker caught my attention. Jey had great energy for the environment, asking anyone in there if the food was okay, if they needed anything. He deserves a raise. Fast food is hard but he had great energy and attitude.

EDIT: I tried Tahlequah Wendy’s again and I was really happy with the food especially. Everything was delicious. The service was friendly. I had to ask for a few items and they were very accommodating. I changed my review from a 3 to a5 star. I’m very happy to have good Wendy’s food. I also removed photos of the food described below.
Understanding that the Tahlequah location just opened I feel it wasn’t as quality as it should have been. The Baconator bacon was closer to ham as it was undercooked. The tomato slice was barely noticeable. The french fries were half in a box and half in the bottom of the bag. The half in the box was semi warm and the half in the bag was cold. I started eating the fries on the drive home so they hadn’t traveled far before testing. The ticket time vs app pick up time and the actual order placed in the pickup area were off by about 15 minutes. There were several tables and seats that needed to be wiped off but I was able to set at a clean area while waiting. I’m going to give it a couple months and I will update this review then. As stated, the store is newly opened and I’m sure still training.

Since they opened recently and this was my first visit, I’ll try not to be overly critical. However, I will be honest that service was pretty slow (but friendly) and they forgot my drinks. Food was mediocre. My burger was over cooked and had maybe a quarter teaspoon of mayo. I parked and went in to ask for some mayo for my dry burger and to get my missing drinks. I then also decided to order a chicken blt. It took nearly 10 minutes standing inside for them to finally complete the order I had started in the drive thru. I will try them again because I like Wendy’s but I was definitely not impressed with my initial visit to this new store.

Waited 15 minutes for any employee to acknowledge us “the only people there”. The manager seemed “off”, the employees were overly loud and belligerent in their discussions. The place was dirty. Started to order and ultimately decided to go somewhere else. We didn’t trust the food would be up to par. Sucks because Wendy’s in my favorite restaurant and finally have one nearby I will never go to again.

I ordered a burger with a gluten free bun for my wife. They made my order but they didn’t mark which burger had the gluten free bun on it. I walked back in to find out, but they told me they DO NOT CARRY the gluten free bun at this location even though it is an option In their app. I called customer service and they said if it is in their app they should have it. They still do not have it, so don’t order any gluten free buns from this store! Customer service only gave me a 5.00 credit for a future order, but since they don’t have the gluten free buns I probably won’t be ordering from them. NO WONDER WHY WENDYS WENT OUT OF TAHLEQUAH BACK IN THE 80’S IF THIS IS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

They’ve just opened so they are very busy, and they unfortunately do not sell the ghost pepper sandwich yet, but this is still some of the best service I have gotten from a fast food restaurant in this area.
My order was ready before I had even poured my fountain drink, looks and tasted as good as other good Wendy’s I’ve been to, and is an excellent size.
Hope they add the ghost pepper ranch sandwich to the menu at some point soon, though.

My 1st time to try them out and I was very disappointed. Fries not warm and dried tasting and the burger wasn’t any better. I threw it in the trash.

Updated. My second visit my cinnabon was old and rock hard. Today I went and spent $16 on a baconator combo…finally got home to discover a jr cheeseburger and med fries in the bag. Gonna be awhile before I go back.
Food was delicious. Shorted a little on the fries but this is their first week open. Full and satisfied!
