Tried their Mexican Indian fusion because it sounded interesting but honestly it didn’t work for me. I had their soya tacos and vegan wings and the taste felt confusing. As an Indian it didn’t really match my taste buds.
Food wasn’t bad just not my kind of thing. Some people might like this fusion but it wasn’t for me. Appreciate their effort though.

I was pleasantly surprised by Tacotwist at Redlands Public Market. The idea of Indian food put into tacos sounded kind of iffy at first, but I ordered two chicken tikka masala tacos, and they were really good. The chicken was tender and flavorful, they had a good amount of onion and cilantro, and came with a small yellow pepper and a big wedge of lime.

The hot sauce packets the shop has pair well with the tikka masala, since they’re a bit vinegary. My brother bought a piece of paan as dessert, which was interesting but highly aromatic, reminding us more of a soap scent than something us Californians might normally think of as a “sweet.”

The woman working at the counter was very friendly and easygoing, and explained the menu to us with a smile. Overall I had an unexpectedly good experience eating at Tacotwist. It’s definitely worth trying out!

The food here was nothing short of extraordinary. As a foodie, I was thrilled by the innovative fusion of Indian and Mexican cuisines—two culinary traditions that share a surprising kinship through their bold use of spices. This is the fusion I’ve been eagerly anticipating, and it did not disappoint. The paneer (cottage cheese) tacos and the Maharaja (King) Burger—featuring a double vegetarian patty—were an explosion of flavors, blending the best of both worlds. Pair these with a refreshing lemon-lime soda (like Limca) to balance the richness, and finish your meal with a sweet paan or a gulab jamun for the perfect ending.

I am trying to figure out where the “fusion” between Indian and Mexican cuisine is happening here besides simply placing Indian food in a tortilla. My friend got the tikka masala burrito which was good and I went with the mega combo (saag paneer, tikka masala chicken, and garlic naan) which was strictly Indian fair. The food was decent but I am still grasping at the fact that this is fusion food? Plus it was roughly $17 for a fistful of paneer/tikka and a ton of rice. Please do not take this the wrong way; the food is decent, the staff is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is great. If you are in the Redlands area and want an EXCELLENT value/representation of Indian cuisine I recommend going to Naan Cafe on 700 E Redlands Blvd. It’s only a 5 minute drive from here, the quality is unmatched, and you get your money’s worth. Trust me.

These curry combos with naan are packed with rich, authentic flavor, the fusion burritos are hearty and delicious especially panner tikka, the samosas are crispy and flavorful and the mango lassi is the ultimate refreshing finish

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. The first time I went in was around the grand opening and the food was great I got a chicken tikka masala burrito and it was huge with lots of chicken. I went back today ordered the same thing and got a burrito with mostly tortilla and they added cheese. CHEESE?! I’m very low quality cheese and tortilla mostly made up this burrito so I paid over $20 for a tiny quesadilla it was such a disappointment. This egregious place is a scam. Don’t waste your time here it also took over 30 minutes to get this garbage. Terrible food, horrendous customer service. Scam.

The food was so mediocre. Hyping up Indian food. I’m Indian myself and felt so disrespected with a full paneer in my taco!! You can’t cut it up and add so spices? Just globs of unwarranted food. I’m from NJ and this a place I will laugh about!!

It took 50 minutes to get our food. I got receipts to prove. People that came way after us got their food …we were order number 56 and people in the mid 60s were already eating. Needless to say I won’t be ordering food here again. Not worth it.

So excited to attend the soft open today! The options were awesome and the chicken Tikka burrito is something that will live on in my dreams! The combination of it being savory, spice-filled, and fresh was such a perfect balance! I enjoyed the chai tea which was also perfect (not too milky or strong) and the chicken Tikka bowl was also the perfect amount of spicy for me. In addition we got the Paan blend drink. That’s a must!!!!!! Wow. Honestly I have NO Idea how they balance so many flavors together so well. Absolutely coming back and already sharing this with friends. Thank you Taco Twist for this experience.
