I absolutely love the pizza here! It’s always delicious from the times I’ve ordered over the phone to the one time I ate In, I’m always satisfied by the food also the owner is just a genuinely great guy, super cool and always friendly.
The only thing I can really deem bad about my experiences from Pizza by the Guy, is the past few times when I’ve ordered over the phone there’s a woman who seems to be having a rough day every time I have her taking my order, but other than that it’s truly a fantastic place with such yummy food

The Traveling Man
My first time here. I was passing through town and decided to try it. I ordered the Calzone and Breadsticks. I got so much food it was crazy, lol. The Calzone was so good definitely in my Top 5 since trying it. There were 8 Breadsticks in an order and they were huge and good, couldn’t eat them all. My only complaint would be the small dining area only 4 tables, kinda cramped otherwise I recommend this place especially if you love Calzones.

My absolute favorite pizza joint in the area and has been since I was a kid. They have alot of cool different kinds of pizza combinations. The classics are also done perfect. Love the Stromboli and hand tossed pies. The crust really is delicious and the toppings are of the same caliber.

This place is a hidden gem that I wish we had checked out sooner. We dined in on a Wednesday afternoon with kids and everything was great. We all got personal sized pizzas and an order of cheese sticks for the table. I loved my pesto based pie with chicken and roasted garlic. The owner was great as we were leaving. We’ll definitely be coming back.

When we come to Owensboro, we always love to go to Pizza by the Guy for their Chicken Garlic Parmesan Subs. My friend’s daughter brought us one back to Tennessee from her visit to Owensboro! It was soooo good! We highly recommend Pizza by the Guy when you are in the “Boro”! Great place owned by great people!
