Alfredo’s, in my opinion, has the best pizza in Shippensburg. Having been a customer for more than a few years now, they are a part of my routine and are an appreciated member of the community. Everyone has their favorite, and that’s fine, but Sal and his team are my first pick. Small business is the best business to support.

Ordered food waited an hour and 20 minutes for delivery and I called to check on it and got told the driver forgot it and had to come back and get it. I just got it and the pizza is cold. And the fries look horrible i can’t even eat them. They gave as a 2-liter for the inconvenience.

Ordered the wings twice because they were so good, asked for extra sauce on the side, since they give you very little sauce.
First time we ordered pickup & 2nd time delivery, they put ALL the sauce on the side, dry wings. The lid wasn’t on the whole way & it was spilling out of the bag, all over the floor & on my fabric dining chair.
24 wings & a small tub of sauce, that spilled everywhere.
The pizza ordered (godfather) was cold & dry, was not specific that none of it would’ve been cooked on the pizza. No sauce, fresh argula/spinach, fresh tomatoes, fresh mozz, prosciutto, roasted red peppers & a drizzle of balsamic .
It was essentially like eating a very dry salad on dry pizza crust. The crust wasn’t even good, so many better options in Shippensburg.

Great prices worth the portions. Literally large hefty meals, great flavors, and great staff as well. Visiting from Florida, traveling the country, and this was a great place for some good Italian food that I miss back at home with my family.

I’ve ordered food from Alfredo’s 3 times.
The first order was for a taco pizza, which was actually pretty good. (Ordered sometime in August 2020)
The second time, I ordered the grilled chicken and broccoli Alfredo. (Ordered sometime in October 2020) The broccoli was definitely undercooked and the chicken were in 1 inch cubes. Pretty sure the chicken was undercooked and it somehow tasted like fish. (Didn’t clean the grill after cooking fish?). That was one of the few times in my life I threw away a meal without finishing it. I had food poisoning later that evening.
My third, and last ever order, was last night (12/21/2020). I ordered a custom Stromboli with extra cheese, onions, ground beef, jalapeños, banana peppers, and pineapple. (I know that I have weird tastes. ). This Stromboli was mostly raw onion, jalapeño and banana peppers. I’m a fan of spicy food, but this was simply too much. I would not be surprised if 7 jalapeños were used in my Stromboli.
I have attached a photo showing all of the jalapeños, onion, and banana peppers that I removed from the 3 inch strip of Stromboli that can be seen on the right side of the box. Note that those are only the ones I removed. I still left a reasonable amount on what I ate. Plus it was difficult to remove all of the jalapeño seeds.
I ended up throwing away the rest of this meal as well.
I also spent several hours in the bathroom shortly after eating this meal.
The final verdict:
3 meals from Alfredo’s total
1 meal was ok.
2 meals were thrown away and resulted in food poisoning.

Nice surprise, the crust has a great texture of chewy and crisp. 14′ inch pizza is a great size. Ingredients are fresh and sauce has a good flavor.

This was my first time at Alfredo’s. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was extremely clean. Our pizza was pretty good and our appetizers were delicious. I would go back just for them! I also want to try their pasta and sandwiches next. I hear they are really good. My only reason for 4 stars is because I didn’t like the pizza dough, just wasn’t my personal preference I guess. It was good, just not my favorite. It was really chewy and a bit tough in places, also it didn’t have a lot of flavor. However, I will try again and rate accordingly.
