I travel at least once a year to Puerto Rico to visit my parents and family and we always make it a point to come to Dorado to eat at this restaurant. The food is delicious. The service is great and welcoming. The location is right in front of the beach. They have their own parking lot. During peak tourist season it is crowded and busy, so plan accordingly.

Maybe we hit the place at the wrong time, but the service was lousy, and the food was not very good. The Mofongo at the restaurant next-door, Katrina‘s, was so much better. It’s a one and done for me.

This place has great food! The service was good, but food was better.
I ordered pastelillos de Pescado (Fish Turnover), a pastelillo de Pulpo (Octopus Turnover), and a pastelillo de Langosta (Lobster Turnover). They were nicely stuffed, and had great flavor.
I also had Mahi Mahi Nuggets with Mofongo. The mofongo was tasty and the nuggets were well seasoned. My spouse ordered a Shrimp Mofongo and it was good too.
The only thing that could be better is their mojitos. Too much sweetness against the rum.
Besides that, I recommend it to anyone craving Puertorrican seafood.

Stopped by with my family to visit the area. We were going to stop by the beach but my cousin wanted to stop in for an alcapurria. Alcapurrias are smashed plantains made into a small log shape, filled with ground beef, then fried. It was the size of my forearm and it was delicious. We also ordered beef pastelillos, which are the equivalent of an empanada, but deep fried. The pastelillos tasted so delicious. I also had some sangria which was quite tasty. You can also play dominoes here. It is right across from the beach so there was a nice breeze coming through.

Great Puerto Rican food by the beach! We loved everything we ordered – pastelillos de carne and langosta were both excellent. The fried red snapper (chillo) with the arroz manposteado as a side was fanastic. Even my kids loved the fresh fish and crispy skin and the rice was very flavorful -similar to Spanish rice with chorizo. The monfongo de Camarones with the garlic sauce had little crispy bits and was good too. We also got the arroz con pollo which the kids liked as well. Friendly service in a relaxing environment.

A mojito or ice cold cerveza is just across the street from the beach…literally. You can’t beat the location of La Villa De Lester.
We stayed upstairs at Aqua Terrazas and ate here nearly every day. Definitely recommend their fish tacos, arroz con camarones, beans and rice, and the pastelillos.

Beach front dining at its best! The “Asopao” are to die for…comes w a side order of mofongo, which you then can add little by little to the asopao! Delish!! I ordered the Asopao de Camarones!!
