I ordered Subway tonight on their app and went and picked them up from the Raytown store. I got home and unwrapped them and were shocked as the buns were burned to a crisp! We asked for them to be toasted but seriously??
They were so badly burned we couldn’t eat them on top of the fact both were made incorrectly! I called them and they said there was nothing they could do to refund my money. I told them I couldn’t believe they saw how badly it was burned and wrapped it and sent it out the door. She then hung up on me!

We then wrapped them up and went back to the store. Waited our turn,as they glared at us, and showed them the sandwiches and asked for a manager. She said she would help us in a minute. She the told us she was the one that wrapped it and saw nothing wrong with it. She said this was what wheat bread looks like!!!
I then told her that I’m sure she would be proud if I sent her handiwork to corporate at which time she accused ME of burning the bread!!!
I must refer back to the fact that wheat bread normally looks like this. Remember?
After she accused me of burning the bread, I was done! We left the sandwiches on the table and walked out the door. I then walked back to the door to see if there was a phone number of a manager or corporate number and they ran wildly to lock the door like I was going to do something to them. We had given them no reason to think we were a threat at all. We are in our mid 70’s so we don’t look like a real threat. Following you will see the pathetic sandwiches I have discussed. I am venting because I am tired substandard product and service and this is makes me feel better I suppose.
For the record, this happened in Raytown Thursday evening around 6:00pm.

Was my order made by a 4 year old? Did one of their employees at the Belton location let their child fulfill the online order? No protein style on the tuna foot long but I paid for it. No extra lettuce on the salad although I asked for it. Meat and cheese just thrown in the bowl without being cut.

Staffed by some very disrespectful young people who actually cussed at a customer and was mad that they ordered 5 sandwiches. Chloe was the offender at 4 pm 2/15/26. When asking the manager why she was allowing her staff to cuss at customers she stated “she would handle it later ” and walked away and went to the back of the store never to return or try to deescalate. I am literally flabbergasted at the behavior. I know fast food can be hard to staff but that behavior is uncalled for
Especially when completely unprovoked because they didn’t want to fill a large order.

Yesterday I went in to this subway to get a sandwich and while I was waiting in line I looked down at the bread and saw ROACHES CRAWLING ON THE BREAD! I was flabbergasted. I’m the staff was really nice and very remorseful but I DID NOT eat there. This was during the day so if you can see roaches during the day there has to be an infestation. It needs to be shut down and no one should be eating there.

Super frustrated I’ve ordered at the Belton location and they screw up my sandwich every time! You can’t complain on the app or website and corporate would not give me the district manager information. Shut this Belton location down. The workers can’t read as this was an online order. Missing 4 ingredients I added

Do yourself a favor and go to a different location.

They never listen to requests, they get the order wrong half the time, and they don’t even begin to attempt any kind of customer service.

They have even told me this coupon applied so I got a free sandwich, got to the window and then tried to lie and say that they never told me that.

Then another time I ordered pickup at the window, got to the store, pulled up, employee opens window and says “your order is on the shelf” and then instantly closes the window on me while I am MID SENTENCE. Just pitiful.

The other Subway locations are good, just this one is AWFUL.

original review from June 2025: I usually love subway but this location is terrible. every time I order food, they forget half of it. & when I try calling them, they just hang up. this location needs new management or needs to close

updated review from December 2025: This place has gotten so much better. I don’t know if it’s cause I went inside. but the two people working were so nice about everything, especially the boy when asking if I wanted double or deluxe, he was very nice when I changed my mind about something. They both were very open to discussing things about this specific location which I appreciated so much. I will definitely be coming back here, I really hope this place continues going up

Never in my life have I ever had sandwiches made so sloppily like the 3 that was made by the young man tonight. The meat was just thrown on there (nothing like they normally do). When asking about if it was going to be fixed, I got looked at like I was crazy. No apology or acknowledgement. I had to ask several times for it to be fixed and not to look like things were thrown on and squished down to fit – like he was some rush. I know they can get busy sometimes, but there were only 2 vehicles in the parking lot, with one person behind me.
