Starting most days at 8pm outside the Monarch Hotel this gem pops up.
I have to say it is surprisingly good! I have passed by a few times and I decided to try because it smelled so good. I would recommend you try this before you head home. $15 for awesome britto. Chicken and pork both are good.

$18 for a shredded/marinated Steak Burrito even by Hawaii’s standards is way too high in my opinion. It was a medium sized burrito as best, filled with the usual stuff, and really the only thing that made it a bit unique & edible was the grilled tortilla.
Sorry but i have had better tasting burritos at Taco Bell/Del Taco for the fraction of the price.
I do got to give them on setting up, preparing and cleaning up their stall/tent tough. Watched them do it all and it is very time consuming and they clean up pretty well leaving no sign of their pop-up restaurant the next morning.

Lovely experience. I enjoyed their delicious taco’s, the owner and cleanliness. The price is VERY reasonable for Hawaii. You spend 3.99 for a chicken soft taco at TacoBell here in HI. I’d rather pay more for quality and support a local business that has great potential to grow.

The tacos here were crazy good. We had a steak taco and chicken taco and loved both, so flavorful. Had it on my last night in Waikiki and it was some of the best food I’d had the entire trip. The tacos were on the small side ($4 for the chicken and $7 for the steak) but when there was great habanero sauce and it was fresh off the griddle, I left happy!

Tacos and burritos were great, the steak ones were my favourite. Tried a lot of the food across the street at the food truck park, and only SteveO’s hit the spot! 10/10 would recommend. They also have vegan options if you ask 🙂

They don’t have it on their menu, but they do have vegan impossible meat available! We got the burrito and taquitos with the impossible meat and it was BOMB. Everything was so well-seasoned. It is just a random table in front of a hotel but don’t be mistaken – it was so much better than all the food I had at the food truck area right across the street. Highly recommend!!!

Solid Mexican and super friendly service from Steve’s partner who gave us a fun rec for beans on a torta. They even have good music while you wait. Our only suggestion might be more sauces in the little containers on the side.
We tried a burrito, torta and enchiladas and they were all made fresh, and packaged up without plastic or styrofoam. Hoping to go back and try and tacos!
