Excellent thai food – pad thai is not too sweet & the service was great. 1 star off for the crappy brand of wine that they serve. I passed – too bad for them – the bill would have been higher if they served decent wine. Interior needs work.

We love the Panang and Masamun curries, the kids chicken fried rice, chicken noodle soup and pineapple fried rice. The Thai tea and sticky rice are perfect too. Great service, excellent food.

What a wonderful find, modern thai place! The service was excellent—every member of the staff, from the host to the waiter, was warm, friendly, and inviting. It’s worth noting that the restaurant closes at 7:45 PM with the last seating at 7:30 PM, though by that time the place had already cleared out. It seems folks in the area tend to dine early, with most non-pub restaurants quiet by 8 PM.

We tried the lobster special with curry sauce, crispy duck with soy sauce, chicken fried rice, and whole fried snapper with ginger sauce. The standout was definitely the snapper. While they offer it as a fillet, I opted for the whole fish, which tend to be incredibly fresh and full of flavor—totally worth navigating the bones. Extremely rare to find a place the serves fresh whole fish around this area.

I’ll absolutely be coming back, especially to try the stir-fried noodle dishes, which seemed to be a popular choice among other diners.

I cannot stress enough how amazing the food at this place is and how nice the owners and staff are at this restaurant. I remember stopping in one day when they first opened and the food was AMAZING. I do miss their prices back then as they were a lot cheaper, but to be honest, at that time I was wow’d by how they were not charging more for their food because it was THAT good. The prices might have changed, but the food quality is the same AMAZING taste that it was when they first opened, which for many restaurants is no easy task due to complacency. The ONLY negative thing I can say about this place is that they take some vacations/time off occasionally and close the restaurant for a few days to a week because I miss the food that much, haha! Great place, authentic Thai food and a great atmosphere. Both dine in and take out are amazing options. I hope this place never leaves!

P.S. try the gyoza and the chicken satay!

We eat at Thai Seed (or more often get take out) on a regular basis. It’s delicious and the staff are very friendly. There are lots of great gluten-free options, and they take care to prepare them safely for people like me who have Celiac. I usually get red curry or pad thai, and I’ve never had a bad experience here.

This was overall the most awful Thai food I’ve ever had. Ordered take out Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Panang, and a Tom Kai soup. The soup was decent but it ended there. The Pad Thai had zero flavor and the chicken used was really gross, it felt and tasted slimy and rubbery. The Chicken Panang was equally horrible, tasteless, and slimy, rubbery chicken. I can’t imagine how this restaurant continues to stay open based on the food they serve. Terrible representation of Thai cuisine. A complete waste of over $50 on take out. Will not return. There is an awesome Thai restaurant in Riverview called Tuk Tuk Thai, will continue to make the drive there when we want excellent Thai food.

Christmas Eve trip took us to Thai Seed for a meal with the parents. While we love Thai food, this was our first visit to Thai Seed.

The pro’s: we could make a reservation which was nice. The service was outstanding. Friendly, attentive and efficient; they were genuinely happy we were there. The food came out quick and was very tasteful. All of those reasons it was a great visits.

The cons: while most everything on our visit was really good, the only two things we weren’t thrilled with was (1) for the price, the portion sizes were definitely on the small side. The $15 dinner portion appeared more like a $10 lunch portion. (2) the lighting and ambiance just felt off. It was super bright inside and it felt more like a Chipotle restaurant than a sit-down dinner place. Don’t get me wrong, it was nice, but the decor & lightning didn’t really feel in line with the table side service.

All in all, great visit.

Food was good. However, owner needs to be more customer focused. My wife and I told the server right up front that we were sharing. He never stated that us an up charge. When he dropped my food off, that’s when he told us of the up charge. Because we’re were unaware of the charge until he dropped off the food. We were displeased. The owner than doubled down on us and brings the menu back us while we were eating to show us the micro post in the corner. Too rude, too costly, unaware of customers and let $5 dollar principle remove business from me for ever. I hope it was worth it.
