OMG! The BEST deep dish pizza ever. So good! Toppings and cheese goes all the way under the crust. Great, now I’m craving this pizza . Drove 1 1/2 hours for this pizza and would do it again and again. You will not be disappointed and if you are, you shouldn’t be reviewing pizza.

The pizza was very good. We had an online order that had a mixup and one of our pizzas got lost in the process. The staff immediately made us a fresh pizza and even comp’ed our order! Very professional, great food, restaurant was clean, all in all a great place to get a great pizza!

Rating should be 4.5 stars, but alas, Google won’t let me do half-star increments. We finally got to try Barnaby’s new deep-dish offering, which we’ve been eagerly awaiting a chance to try and see how it compared to other notable deep dish pizzas. Called in the order and was given an expected time of 45-50 minutes. Arrived 45 minutes after I placed the call and had to wait an additional 20 minutes. Order arrived, opened the box. It wasn’t the prettiest deep dish I’d ever seen. Served up a slice for the lady and I. Man, oh man, it was flippin delicious! The taste and texture were on par with Chicago’s best deep dish and definitely better than Giannetto’s, the wonderful establishment that previously occupied this space before Barnaby’s. Barnaby’s legendary sausage was the star of the show in this iteration.
All and all, we were very satisfied with our pie and will return with the expectation that there may be a lengthy wait but well worth forgiving.

Chicken bacon ranch pizza was so delicious. Also had the pepperoni and sausage. All the deliciousness you would expect from Barnaby’s.

The staff is friendly and the pizza delicious! We ordered a deep dish and it was amazing. The perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings. And when you’ve eaten the pizza you can eat the crust like a bread stick.

I stopped in to get a steak sandwich to go. I ordered and went to wait at the bar. While to place is decent people were nice atmosphere was chill. It took almost 30 minutes to get a sandwich and fries to go. Someone who works there finally had to go to the kitchen to find my order. I figured out why. The steak sandwich was burnt, I mean charcoal burnt. Fries were decent. I called to let them know, and to give them a chance to make it right. They apologized and said that if I didn’t want to come back they would mail me a gift certificate for a new sandwich. Which they did a few weeks later.

There is no table service here. We had no idea and had to go find someone to find out how to order drinks as they were not on the food menu. You order drinks is in the bar. So, if you are not 21 how do you order drinks?

Anyway, you have to find your own plates, napkins and silverware. AND it was freezing inside. We all had to go to our vehicles to get jackets or hoodies.

Pizza was really good though. The bartender ( didn’t get her name) was super nice.

Barnaby’s is one of my go-to pizza joints in The Bend. New addition to the menu (to me at least) with the Chicago deep dish, and it’s solid! Really good & would compare with some of the best in Chicago. Top quality cheese & not shy on the amount used… just like the best in Chicago. Dough & sauce were also very good & proper proportions. Only criticism is the sausage, but that could just be my preference; needs more fennel! Overall still an outstanding deep dish that I’ll have again.
