I went in and ordered two double protein bowls for myself and my daughter, and we paid almost $40 and that’s without any drinks included. We weren’t given any forks or napkins, which was already frustrating, but what really bothered me was how stingy they were with the food.
I paid extra for double protein, and the girl behind the counter gave me one tiny scoop of each meat. When I politely asked for a bit more considering I was paying extra she gave me the most condescending look and basically told me no. I let it go, but it felt really disrespectful.
What we ended up with were two bowls that honestly looked like slop. My daughter’s had more vegetables than meat or rice, and mine had huge, slimy chunks of unripe avocado. Worst of all, the food was cold not even warm. I couldn’t even finish my meal because it was just that distasteful. The only thing I enjoyed was the brownie. On top of that, I paid my best friend $20 to drive us there because I didn’t want to walk in nearly 100-degree weather or pay for an Uber. So not only did I waste my money and time I wasted my friend’s time too.
For the price I paid and the way we were treated, I expected way better. I won’t be returning to this location.
