I Had a mixed experience at North 11 restaurant recently. The staff and atmosphere were wonderful, but unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations.
I ordered the seafood combo and was disappointed to find out the shrimp was popcorn shrimp, which wasn’t mentioned on the menu. Plus, it was barely battered and overcooked. The fish was just okay—nothing special—and the fries were lukewarm. The hush puppies? Cold. I also never received the potato salad that was supposed to come with my meal.
Might give it another shot in the future, but definitely not going for the seafood combo again. #Foodie #RestaurantReview #MixedFeelings

Really glad we discovered this place while we were passing through. Extensive menu for such a small place. The food was outstanding and plentiful, hot, fresh, and cooked to order. Prices are reasonable. I would totally recommend this little gem.

Came here a few times last year. Got the burger on a bun each time. Burgers are not bad for what they are. Just a burger. Nothing special. And a reasonable price. Hadn’t been back again til yesterday. I got a couple things to go. The hot sausage poboy was the sorriest looking sandwich I’d ever had. Sausage was overcooked and dry. Mistake getting that. Then was the special. BBQ baked chicken. 2 quarters of chicken tasted good but were very small pieces. Then the side of Mac and cheese. That was like a few pieces of macaroni and a big glob of melted American cheese on top. That was a mistake. I think I’ll be passing on this place next time I’m looking for lunch

Stopped in the other day for lunch. This popular Picayune diner was busy, of course, but the staff was friendly and seated me immediately. I ordered their famous shrimp poboy and it was PERFECT! Special thanks to the owner (Mike) and hostess (Lily) for a wonderful experience. Can’t wait to go back!

Small blue building held BIG surprise! Portions were HUGE. So big that I could only eat my BLT and 2.5 of the fried green tomatoes. Hubs had a whole shrimp po’ boy and onion rings/small. We could have split his whole meal!! Had 2 dozen shrimp on it easy! Really good food and service. 2 $’s though is a closer call but TOTALLY worth it. With tip, around $30 for both of us.

We had always wanted to try this place but we always had a truck full of expensive equipment. Today was the day we got to go. Everything was absolutely delicious. The fried oysters and the soft shell crabs were cooked to perfection. The macaroni and cheese was to die for and the fried fresh mushrooms were so good that I couldn’t stop eating them. We will definitely be going back. The prices were great and the portions were big.
