The food was great as was the service. The interior is cozy cabin feel but with vaulted plank ceilings, log beams and tall windows. Beautiful views of the mountains and forest. We got the salmon on a mixed green salad plus apple tart. House Chardonnay complemented the meal perfectly.

Family and I came up recently and ate here as we were staying at the resort for the weekend. Overall the food was good but the service seemed less than standard. The waitress seemed to be annoyed every time we asked for something (and we didn’t ask for much either).
Came back a week later with coworkers and the service was horrible. The first night, we managed with a larger party. The second night, only four of us came to eat. We stood at the front counter for nearly 10 minutes waiting to be seated and were ignored. Not once was our presence acknowledged nor were we offered a seat. Ultimately we had to walk out and go somewhere else.
I have eaten here many times in the past and suffice to say, the food is good, but I can’t explain why the service was so poor this time. I have never been treated that way there. The employees acted as if we were an annoyance to their evening by coming in and patronizing the establishment. I can understand if it was a busy night but there were hardly anyone in the restaurant and the poor service wasn’t a one night thing, this was three separate occasions within a weeks time.
Unfortunately I will never be coming back to eat at this place. I would rather drive 30 minutes to Mammoth to eat if needed.

It was about 1145am. Good place to eat. It was quiet and service was prompt and quick.

This is the best dining in all of June Lake. The food, service, and atmosphere is ideal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu except the pasta dishes and all were excellent. Salmon, ribeye, ribs, curry, fish tacos, and burgers. My favorite was the ribeye and big enough to share.

Fabulous, through and through. The food was amazing. I had the fish tacos, my spouse had a burger. Both were flavorful and juicy. They also had the best ice tea I’ve had in a while. The servers were friendly and timely. The view is outstanding. I’m already planning my return to the June Lake area just to come back to the Eagle’s Landing Restaurant.

The food was great, lovely for a cold winter day. We had the potato skins (awesome!) and the chicken sandwich (good). Our server was just lovely. It’s a really great dining hall with lots of wood and beautiful views.

We stopped by just for dinner and accidentally discovered this place — and we’re so glad we did. We’re definitely planning to come back. The location is unbelievable, surrounded by towering, breathtaking mountains. A great spa, an excellent restaurant, and truly stunning beauty all around. An unforgettable place.

Went with a party of 12, we called a few hours in advance as a courtesy. When we arrived there were 2 other tables occupied. Two different people waited on us. A woman took our order and later a man delivered the food. We asked both politely to split checks because our work required this for per diem receipts. We were told they would only split it in 2 per policy. It really changed the tone of the evening. We weren’t offered water or drink refills, and we didn’t see them again at our table until the bill was given. By that time we were the only ones there. They still wouldn’t consider helping us get our individual checks. In all honesty it felt like we were hassling them and they were annoyed to wait on us. We came here 3 years ago and stayed in the area for a week. We went to this restaurant 3 nights in a row because we loved the place. This year we stayed in the area for a week as well. Our intention was to come back every night because we loved the food and it was close by. After this experience we went to Mammoth, 30 minutes away, for the rest of the week. And those restaurants were all happy to accommodate us. What a shame. We probably aren’t coming back in future years.
