Had great service and delicious food. There were at least 20 snowmobilers here and the service didn’t skip a beat. I had the Black & Bleu burger with coleslaw and my wife had the Grilled Chicken salad. Very good food! Great atmosphere. Excellent service, thank you Chere for taking good care of us. We will be back!

Couple trips there today. Like to hold these 5 stars for genuine place. The swamp II is that. Great food reasonable priced and a nice drink selection. Staff is awesome! Everything we had was delicious and probably more of a caliber of a higher end restaurant. They prepare their food very well and there’s plenty of it. Not in an obnoxious way but portions that one single human can eat all of it and feel full. Or even take a little to go.

This is one of those hidden gems you hear about. We stopped on our way out to Hartwick Pines State Park after looking for a local “Mom & Pop” place or local favorite. They have great prices & have many specialty burgers & hoagie plus pizza & more. The reviews were all glowing too, so we decided to try it out. They did not disappoint. We’re here at the very last weekend of the season, so the atmosphere was very laid back; maybe a dozen or so patrons. The Halloween decor was tastefully done, only adding to the beauty of the fall colors & the ambience of the place. I got the Philly Cheese Steak & asked for pickles instead of chips. Our waitress was a pickle dan as well so she gave me 8 spears at no extra charge. The hoagie was fantastic btw! My fiance got the 1/2 lb Swamp Burger with seasoned fries & a Coke. Our bill was only $25 & I only ate half my hoagie, so now I have donner too. Im only sorry we didn’t catch our waitress’ name, she was friendly & bubbly; she even credited me for the jukebox because I had spent $5 in credits only to realize the jukebox wasn’t playing, it was another system being used. That was very cool of her to do since I only mentioned it to forewarn others. Needless to say, we would drive out of our way for good portions of great food, great prices & friendly atmosphere.

Breakfast buffet is off the charts plenty to choose from if you leave hungry thats your fault fresh fruit, cereal, sausage links big and small bacon biscuits and gravy scrambled eggs corned beef hash very yummy everything.

Great place, very nice atmosphere!! Ann was our Bartender, she’s was very efficient and had a wonderful personality!! While we were hanging out side on the patio we got the pleasure of meeting the owner. LOVED talking with the locals and them telling us how much they love their little town. Definitely thinking about making a move up and around this area. Thanks for the great experience, reasonable prices, great food and even better company hands down will return most definitely

I wasn’t sure what to expect going in, but had seen the breakfast buffet mentioned. This place nails it! The breakfast buffet was really good, fresh, and plentiful. Our waitress was very nice and the juke box was rocking at 9 AM. Would absolutely visit again if in the Frederic area!

5 out 5 stars!! Place is Friendly and Food is good. Wait Staff is friendly and helpful. Lori is the best waitress and hustles like crazy it makes me tired watching her. Jen and Cathy rock it out! Food is very good and never disappoints. Julie the owner is the best and does what it takes to make sure everyone is comfortable and taken care of.
