Very hit or miss with this location. Last time I was coming home from a long day and they made my bowl incorrectly which is very frustrating because I live 20 mins away from this location and was on the way back home. So I spent almost another hour getting a smoothie bowl. Today I ordered from here and they were running low on the acai base. So I wasn’t given a full serving. I don’t think it’s fair to pay full price for an item if you aren’t getting the full serving. $12+ for a smoothie bowl and don’t even get a full bowl with a SMALL amount of topping. Had to even ask for extra hazelnut drizzle that I PAID extra for. Need this place to hit more than being a miss each time

Every time I come to this place they always seem busy and over occupy with clients and not having enough help. And they always seem understaffed. Last time I went the young girl was working there out there by herself while the manager was training someone And customers were coming in and out and she was stressing out trying to figure out how to do everything by herself. I don’t like me and a few customers felt that was so jacked up. The manager could have at least helped her catch up and then go back to training or have the trainee watch as she tried to help the girl catch up. I was very dissatisfied with that experience because everyone had to wait extra long times while the young girl had to fulfill online orders and walk-ins. They have to do better than this.. Not to mention oftentimes I come in and the young ladies that work there don’t seem like they’re interested in helping at all they seem like they’re overwhelmed also. Maybe that’s why there’s always a rotation of employees. The young girl on this day while the trainee was getting trained that helped me was so kind and she was very excellent. Please do better

This is how the Gogo Goji bowl was delivered to me. I’ve ordered before and have never received such a mess . My order included 2 bowls and one had the texture of soup along with both bowls being under the ‘required’ white line on bowl. This is unacceptable and a waste of money!!

Hit or miss over here. Ive had good expereices a couple times here but tjis time the staff member was alone and freaking out the whole time about things not going right. I was patient with her but after waiting 20 min for my 12 and 20 oz order, she gave smoothies that were watery and tasted watered down. Wish I could get my money back.

I frequent this location regularly. I ordered 3 Smoothie bowls totalling $36. When I arrived home and opened the bag, the base in all 3 smoothies were very short. I called the store and asked why was the base so short. The manger said that’s how were supposed to be. I contacted, corporate September 26th, uploaded pictures and was told I would be receiving a call from the store manager to resolve the issue within 48 hours. If not reach back out to Corporate. I received no call and emailed Corporate and the situation hasn’t been resolved.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY PURCHASING FROM the Smooth King at 8179 Mississippi street Merrillville, IN.
The Crown Point location is far better.

This Smoothie King location makes great smoothies. Sometimes staff is a little slow, but in general the service speed is good. The atmosphere is clean and inviting.

App is easy but wish you could sub strawberries with sugar with just regular strawberries on the app for the kids smoothies! Or filter by certain ingredients!
