I must start by saying, I have never given anybody a 5 in every category. This place was exceptional. Went here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The food was great and the choice of music playing was fantastic. The staff went above and beyond and I love the crazy bathroom sink!!!

The appetizers were quite frankly the best part of in the world, which wasn’t that a surprise we would have. We got the beef tips and dumplings the beef was cooked to perfection very tender and delicious. I ordered the Delmonico steak it’s my favorite cut of steak usually doesn’t need much but very happy that I added the garlic butter. The other steak was a filet mignon cooked to the right temperature but lacking in flavor. For sides we shared The scalloped potatoes which came out in a block form not typical, asparagus and the mushroom risotto. I absolutely love risotto that I felt there was an overkill with the mushrooms. For dessert I got the creme brulee now why it was fantastic it was heated up correctly the middle and bottom was still cold so it set weirdly however, very tasty wasn’t worth mentioning but just want them to note for future. Absolutely beautiful Christmas decorations. Very attentive staff from the moment you walk in. Reservations are highly recommended as we came on a Wednesday it was quite busy.

This is a very pretty cozy streak house that used to have really nice food. We had dinner this evening and we were so disappointed. The wait person was very sweet but could not seem to understand my husband wanted a draft beer. And she did not know availability or the names. She needs more training. I don’t blame her, I blame management. We had to repeat about four times what he wanted and another wait person had to help her with what beers were available and what beers were not. We skipped apps and ordered the chicken breast with prosciutto and mozz and the spare ribs. The chicken came with a lot of sauce and very little chicken and almost no prosciutto. It was bland. My spare ribs were not tasty, they were gigantic however and sloppy with sauce which was a weird sort of sweet. They were very fatty. I had mashed potato’s and grilled veg, also lacking flavor. The potatoes had very little butter if any. The veg needed at the very least salt and pepper.
Also now they charge for credit cards. We tend not to go the restaurants now doing this. It’s a lazy up charge for doing nothing to improve service or food.

Stopped by here for girls night! Uncle Mac, Micheal was our server, he gave absolutely flawless service. My fellow black and blue steak lovers, this is the place to go! Temp was right on, also recommend the Caesar salad… the best in Essex county!

This was my first time here, and I was pleasantly surprised. The outdoor dining space was really nice, and the indoor dining room was beautiful. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts were all so delicious. When the steak was not cooked to my degree, they immediately brought out another perfectly cooked meal. I would definitely go back again.

Good overall but not super impressed! Had a filet mignon and it was cooked very close to perfection, seasoned ok and presented nicely. Special old fashioned was good but I preferred the original better. She had some kind of chicken and said it was ok. If I lived in town I would try again but I don’t think I will travel 25 minutes to get there as I think better places are within that area.
