Waitress was awesome. I actually felt bad for her because she was trying her best. Waited over an hour for food. When we got the manager, she went to check our order and brought out a different table’s food. This food was ordered 30 minutes after ours. When talking to the manager, she told us she didn’t know what we wanted her to say. She went back to the kitchen. Most of our order came out a couple of minutes later. The plates were hot, the food wasn’t and most was obviously microwaved. One dish was wasn’t even complete. Went to pay for drinks and the manager sent the waitress out to speak with us.

My mother, daughter, and I ate dinner here yesterday and the service was less than par. The waitress was nice enough, but inattentive. We had to ask for everything. Straws. Where’s the silverware? Where is our queso..? Even had to go to HER for the ticket. No refills, not one check up on us. Food was poor tasting. Then to top it all off, food poisoning. We will never be back.

Friend and I had dinner. My order was right his not so much. I had pork tips and they were the best I ever had. Ima big boy and can say that was unexpected. We talked to Kati the manager on the way out. Very nice person with excellent customer service skills. So much so we came back later for drinks and several of us laughed and cut up until they had to close. I will be back.

This is one of the top Tex-Mex restaurants in the area. Our “after church” lunch group eats here at least once a month, always with an unreasonably large party (we once had 23, 18 is not uncommon) and we are always seated, all together, within 20 minutes. We’re always happy with the food and service.
Cons:

-Floors, tables, and EVERYTHING is clean! Even well over a year after opening, the place still looks brand new.
-Chips and salsa. The chips are always fresh, not too thin and not too thick, and the staff keeps ’em comin’! I could drink their salsa. Perfect.
-The service. I’ve never been dissatisfied with the staff here. With our large groups, that’s impressive.
Try the “Monterey Chicken”. It’s usually on special for under $10 ($8.99 I think). It is wonderful.

This place should be shut down!!! The bathrooms are disgusting and let’s not talk about the smell. The food tastes like it has been stored in the freezer for months and microwaved “to perfection”. That is if you receive the actual food that you ordered. Service is decent but the manager is awful. I’ve given this place 5 tries since they’ve opened and realized it’s not me- it’s them. The one in Sterlington is clean but the food is about the same. So disappointed after eating at the Bastrop location daily as a teenager! Spend your money elsewhere!

We were visiting Monroe and decided to have Mexican food. Found Fiesta Linda and ate there. Wonderful experience, the food was great and we had a great waiter, Steven. He gave great service with a smile. Totally enjoyed our dining out.

It took the waiter for ever to bring out food. When he finally brought my food he didn’t bring the cheese sauce or tortillas. I asked for them again but still none was brought. My food got cold while waiting and I got up and walked into the kitchen and the waiter seen me and finally got my cheese. They didn’t offer a reduced bill or anything for the inconvenience. Also the bartender doesn’t know how to make drinks. My brother ordered a long island iced tea. The waiter came back and said that the bartender doesn’t know how to make that. This location is terrible. The one in Bastrop is way better.
