I ordered an ube latte with oat milk instead of coconut milk. My server, Kevin, brought me an ube matcha latte instead. When I said I wanted the regular ube latte, he walked away and then came back a moment later and asked if it had matcha in it because he couldn’t tell. There was a dollop of green foam in the middle of the drink so I don’t how he couldn’t tell!
But finally I get the ube latte and it’s of course with coconut milk and not oat like I had asked, but I drank it anyway because at this point, it had already taken too long. It also took a really long time to get our food — which I got the Graceland French toast and my friend got the pimento toast. You wouldn’t expect to wait 20-30 minutes for those types of food. Our server Kevin didn’t bother to check in with us and update us on the status of our food. I get that they were busy, but communication would have been nice and I’ve been to plenty of busier restaurants with more complicated menus that have gotten food out way quicker.
When we finally got the food, it was good – nothing ridiculously amazing to validate our $70 check though for French toast, pimento toast, latte, 1 cocktail, and a side of potatoes, and sausage!
Their clientele is clearly more targeted toward boujie girls who want a place that looks good on Instagram that overcharges to make them think the place is worth more than it is.

Came to NOLA for the weekend with the girls and stopped by this place for brunch! It’s a cute place and definitely hidden. The food was good. I had a good experience.

Our res was for indoor, it we noticed how loud it was and were accommodated for outdoor instead. The area seems more posh and away from the tourist spots. Food was tasty – brunch board in particular- and I really enjoyed the spritz options and other brunch cocktails offered. The service, however was incredibly slow. I had to remind our server of the need for our check after she had made round trips and then went to make others coffee. The service is why I don’t plan to return.

Can’t recommend this place enough. I’ve honestly never eaten anywhere twice for brunch but this restaurant has me wanting to go back again and again. The food is *chefs kiss* the drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is relaxing and fresh.

Very cute little place slightly tucked away off of Magazine Street. I was meeting someone who was running late and the service was perfect, not pushy at all but just right.
I got the iced lavender latte and my friend got the ube. My smoked salmon toast was very good with only a slight complaint of a desire for more salmon as it felt like a thin layer, but c’est la vie.
My date got the elote pork belly which I tried and was nice and spicy. Overall a good time. I’m including a picture of the S&WB sign with the flowers around it from outside because it’s really matched the whole vibe of the place.

First and foremost, The atmosphere an overall aesthetic of the establishment Is gorgeous. Greeted by a handsome gentleman at the door who was very friendly and accommodating when asked to be seated outside. When first at a table, that seating was not necessarily the right fit for me we asked to move and was graciously obliged, and seats were switched. We were served by 4 to 5 different waitresses no names needed as everyone we saw was friendly, courteous, polite, and a gem. Bottomless mimosa worth every penny our cups runneth over as they were never empty! I mentioned that my birthday was tomorrow And before I knew it, I had my own coffee espresso birthday Sunday. It was so sweet of them to just think of me I will mention it was a Monday mid morning. We do believe the manager/owner approached us about enjoying our meal which we were ending. She was very sweet and very attentive. The food was phenomenal and the portion size is very generous, especially at the price point. I had their pork bagel and my friend had their burger which was delicious with healthy options of a side salad and a fruit cup. We did take our leftovers home. I recommend Birdy’s to anyone who wants a brunch experience with that authentic, New Orleans, hospitality and friendliness that the city is known for, Birdy’s on magazine Street is for you! I would be remiss to not mention the coffee, top notch and delicious well prepared with bold flavors Delicious with several different varieties and versions to try.
Thank you Birdy’s for giving me a memorable experience on a Monday morning ! Bathrooms were extremely clean and unexpectedly aesthetically pleasing great job!

Throwing it back with an old photo from Birdy’s Behind the Bower in New Orleans, it’s still one of my favorite spots! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the food is always on point. Perfect place for a laid back meal or a drink with friends. Can’t wait to go back

Birdy’s is one of my go-to brunch spots! We recently went on a weekday and were seated right away, but I’d definitely make a reservation for peak brunch times. The avocado toast is a favorite, the burger is great, and while I wasn’t into the burrata toast, the rest of what we have tried has been solid. The outdoor seating feels like a little escape from the city. Fun place for groups and always great service!

I had a great first experience at Birdy’s this Sunday afternoon! I sat at a two top outside and there was no wait despite how busy it was. The atmosphere and service were lively and inviting. The food was good and overall had a nice flavor. The prices reflect the area though. I will definitely be back! I want to try the espresso martini and the grilled hanger steak ceasar salad next time.

We stopped at Birdy’s for brunch after a long weekend in NOLA. I would skip this place – the wait was long, both to sit down and to get our food. The atmosphere is fine but definitely not local at all. The wait staff was very friendly but the amount of time it took to get our food was unacceptable. The other half of our group ate at a different table and were done eating when we got our food. No explanation or apology from them.
I got a steak and Caesar salad to eat that was fine but not worth the $28 it cost. Same applies to the King Cake Cinnamon Bun. There are better spots nearby. Skip this one
