I had the buffalo chicken Ceasar wrap, phenomenal! Service was fast (1 min order to sevice time) and plenty of seats.

The food here is excellent. They have some of the best sandwiches and really good salad options, all fresh and well made. The quality of the food definitely stands out. However, the ordering process is confusing. There is no clear guide or signage explaining how to order, where to wait, or when to pay, so it’s hard to know what to do unless you’ve been here before. Many customers seem confused because of this. Overall, great food, but the process could be much better organized to improve the experience.

What a hidden gem in an oasis of overrated, overpriced lunch options! The customer service is top notch and they don’t miss a beat. What a refreshing option for a quick and affordable bite in the vicinity. No lines, no gimmicks, just honest and impeccable high quality ingredients! Do you have an early or late morning or afternoon meeting? Well, here’s your spot, folks! Skip all the super long lines and garbage food and hop on over. Some of the very best sandwich meal specials in town with some of the tastiest sandwiches I’ve ever had – it’ll literally knock your socks right off! I don’t know what the average person thinks about sandwich accessibility in Washington, but it’s always left a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended). I’ve quite literally had the most terrible sandwiches imaginable here in the town, always with the promise of a great sandwich. Baloney! (pun intended, although I’ve never sampled baloney here). Plus the array of choices are just endless. You won’t regret it! Times are really tough these days and every dollar really counts, why waste it on another pricey, subpar breakfast or lunch experience? GO NOW, and invite your colleagues!

The sandwiches were excellent, and the staff was friendly. We were looking for a light lunch and found it here. We enjoyed our meal outside, with a nice view of the park and buildings nearby.
We tried the Pastrami Melt and the Pastrami & Corned Beef Melt, both of which were delicious. The place gets crowded, but the line moves quickly. Most customers order takeout, although there is some seating available inside and outside.

First review of my life. Bad enough experience to try and help out others. Born and raised here. Owner tried to steal my money today. He took my order (2 sandwiches) and I paid. Then after 20 minutes of waiting owner tried to force us out without getting the food. Blatant thievery. I know it’s rough in DC these days for restaurants. That said, stealing is probably not a business model that will work long term.

Experience was 0. I order a meatball sub we sat inside the place to eat once I received my sandwich the bread was soggy like it had be sitting for hours only 2 smashed meatballs and cheap cheese. The meatball sub was disappointed and disgusting.
I asked to have the sandwich remade or a different sandwich the owner a woman that was rude said no because I can’t sale it. I didn’t eat the sandwich I give it back it was trash and disgusting I left the sandwich on the counter.
Her customer service skill are disrespectful and disgusting just like the sandwich. Say away !!!

With such a bold claim as a name, there is a certain right to hold at least a little bit of skepticism. However, these were some of the best sandwiches I’ve had in DC. Great location, fresh ingredients, quick service. No complaints here. Try the Pastrami Bacon Sub, I highly recommend it!

I’m not a sandwich person, but even I make an exception for this place.
People lose their minds over all the sandwiches here, and honestly, I’ve never fully understood the hype. But the Chicken Caesar Wrap? That I get. It’s hands down the best in D.C. You can choose fried or grilled chicken, and both are equally fantastic. The flavors are sharp, the wrap is fresh, and it just hits in a way most sandwiches don’t.
The service is always on point. The staff are smiling, friendly, and clearly trying to keep the line moving so everyone gets fed fast. The ambiance is regular cafeteria vibes, but when the food is the star, why bother with the rest?
I don’t come here all the time, but every once in a while, I find myself craving that wrap like nothing else. It’s that good.

Very convenient for a quick lunch spot! The best sandwich place has a large variety of sandwiches and salads to order or customize. Service is quick and in an easy location. The chipotle chicken melt was delicious with a Sun dried tomato pesto and grilled chicken. The crispy chicken melt was similar but came with a spicy mayo. Both were great and satisfying.

Really great assortment of creative and (happily surprising) edgier and more ethnic sandwiches, subs, and salads in a very mainstream level presentation.
I tried the Louisiana Gulf Shrimp sub and it was pretty bomb. The shrimp were fine but it was the onions rings, remoulade, and hot sauce that set this off.
Also had a bit of the Korean steak melt. I’ve had better Kalbi beef but the Sriracha mayo, chili sauce, and generous pepper jack cheese more than made up for it. Really solid Korean steak and cheese.
Service was good, and the food came out quickly.
Definitely will try more of their selections next time I’m back.
Pro tip: get your food to go and eat at one of the benches at the beautiful Franklin park right across the street.
