I recently visited Sahara Restaurant & Hookah Lounge and had a mixed experience. The food was decent, scoring 7 out of 10, but the hookah was a highlight, earning an 8 out of 10. One tip for drivers: be aware that the navigation system tends to take you on a huge U-turn, which might not be the most efficient route.

If you’re planning to visit, timing is everything. Arriving before 10 pm ensures a relatively easy time getting a seat or table. However, after 10 pm, it gets quite busy.

The drinks were excellent, scoring 9 out of 10. But the real showstopper was the music – a fun and lively mix of Spanish tunes that had me entertained throughout my visit. It was hilarious and added to the overall ambiance, earning a perfect 10 out of 10. The server was great too, not super friendly but still got all my needs done and food came out quickly.

Overall, Sahara Restaurant & Hookah Lounge is a great spot to grab a drink, enjoy some hookah, and take in the lively atmosphere. Just be mindful of the crowds after 10 pm and plan your visit accordingly.

While some of the couches could use replacement, and the alcohol prices are steep, those are the only areas I would suggest improvement. // Edit: They have brand new couches!

The place is sanitary, the hookahs are delicious and prepared well, the food is surprisingly amazing, and the staff is attentive and quick. I suggest giving them a try, I’m glad I did! I’ve been back many times. The fries are the best!!

This place is freaking awesome! Not only do they offer showings of pay per view sports but there’s no cover fee, the hookah is very affordable($25), really flavorful Lebanese food until 1:30am, and cool vibes. Literally the most lit highlight of my trip over here.

We were a group of 4 and we have unanimously agreed that this place has terrible customer service and wont be returning here ever again.
First of all they do not let you choose a place of your choice even though there is plenty of seats available.
After we finally get a table and are enjoying our hookah and food , they keep pestering us by asking if we need more stuff . After the servers third visit , she asks us to order over 75 dollars if we wanted to sit for more time as it was late night .

This is atrocious and unacceptable. I have never been to a place where people are asked to leave even when they have stuff on their tables with their hookahs
If they had these minmum purchases , they should mention it in the menus or outside the lounge at the entrance !
WORST PLACE !
The food is good no doubt and that is why i visited this place the second time . But not going to do it again

First time coming, definitely not coming back.

Customer service: The hubby and I came here for hookah and drinks and wasn’t impressed. The place was dead when we walked in on a Saturday night (around 8pm) which I thought would be a good thing because the service should be good and fast…boy was I wrong. Our server NEVER checked on us. We had to call him over and get his attention each time we needed something. Instead of him attending to his ONLY customers, he stayed looking down on his phone, smoking hookah, chilling on one of the couches and never asked if we needed anything. This happened multiple times while we were there. When we were done, we tried several times to get his attention but he never looked up from his phone. Eventually my husband had to get up and walk over to him to get his attention.

Food: we ordered the wings and calamari. The wings were actually pretty good but the calamari wasn’t. The Sahara cocktail was pretty watered down, however the mango mojito was very good and refreshing.

Overall, the hookah, wings, and mango mojito was good but the customer service on an empty night was bad enough that it canceled out the good. Imagine how terrible the service is on a busy night. If they’ll ignore you when it’s empty, I can’t imagine they would be pay attention to you as a customer when it’s busy.

After visiting two other restaurants in the area and promptly leaving due to the terrible vibes and loud music — I finally found Sahara. The music was calm but not overwhelming, the falafel is reasonably priced, and the hot sauce is literally the best thing I’ve tasted in my life (yes, I tried to get the recipie). It’s my first night in the area and BiMi was super nice and friendly and made me feel super welcome (unlike how I felt at the other restirants I visited). I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

I don’t smoke hookah, but they have that here too. I appreciate that BiMi offered but wasn’t overly aggressive about it. Overall, 10/10 experience!

If you’re looking for an upscale hookah lounge, this is the place. Everything feels premium, the décor, the service, and especially the hookahs. The flavors are rich, the smoke is smooth, and the staff keeps everything flawless. It’s the kind of place where you can come for a classy night out and leave completely satisfied.

To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I walked in. The decor is pretty dated, and it was looking more like a old dive bar than a Lebanese restaurant. However, the food was amazing. The veggie sampler (with kofta kabob) and chicken shawarma platter were some of the best I’ve had. Absolutely up there with Mona’s, Lebanese Taverna, Layalina, Me Jana, etc. Not fancy, but if you want solid food that’s well-priced, this is it.
