Ordered the chilli and it tasted like they poured it out of a can and added some water. I in fact did call them to verify that they do order it frozen in large bags. It doesn’t even include beans… but apparently if you ordered the vegetarian chilli, its only beans… ??
Also, I got a croissant sandwich and the tomato was mushy and the lettuce discolored.
Please watch your toppings and their freshness and please add freaking beans in your chilli. What is chilli without beans??

Don’t eat here!! This place used to be good. I always get the King Club sandwich. The last 3 times I’ve gotten it, they barely put any meat. Literally 1 or 2 slices of each meat. I talked to the manager twice and said it won’t happen again but I’m done. There must be new management or staff because something is off. I don’t recommend this place at all.

I just want to brag on Shay. So, I doordashed a baked potato and had paid for extra cheese dip and chili, and my potato arrived to me but no chili and cheese dip. So, I called McAlister’s and Shay was absolutely amazing! She told me to come down and she would get me my cheese dip and chili, and she would even give me a free meal ticket. So, I will from now on just go to McAlister’s and get the food. I’ve had A LOT of issues with Doordash lately. Wednesday I had an amazing dasher and all my food shows up, and today I had a very mean and rude dasher and half my food does NOT show up! I know that this is NOT McAlister’s fault. This is all on Doordash, so I LOVE McAlister’s and will continue to eat there, but I will either dine in, or pick it up myself, OR they can deliver it which I was not aware of, but yeah. Go see Shay. She’s awesome!

Starkville McAlister’s half sweet tea for today! 5pm supper was the half spud, which is just a smaller baked potato & half sandwich. I tried to customize the baked spud & I think the kid i tipped $2, misunderstood me. I did not want broccoli or red peppers, nor spring mix. Instead it had all those things, melted cheese & butter on my half veggie spud, non-customized. At least i got sour cream. It tasted good, but i’m allergic to broccoli, so it stayed on my plate.
The half sandwich Memphian i customized on marbled rye instead of baguette was fixed correctly. I’m glad kid got those instructions. I tipped him 14% tip because he didn’t seem worn out from my customizing, and lower than 15% because I don’t get paid by the hour. Service, clean deli, & lovely soft rock music all get A pluses!

One of the casual sandwich places in town. The place is clean, good looking with a bunch of nice helping staffs. The sandwich and soup is good. The spuds are worth to give a try. Nice place for a casual date.

First and foremost Usually have a great experience at McAlister’s but this one here just wasn’t it they were out of most things I requested for instance bread and when had to change what I originally ordered they were out of Mac and cheese well it was frozen secondly my girlfriend got the salad she was enjoying the ranch was alittle off but was going good till a bug came out the same walked across the plate and table I was like you can’t make this up so I really hope they just come around to get it together please will maybe return again but it was horrible experience
