I was just passing through town around lunch time and decided to stop here. I believe I was the first customer of the day! Service was prompt and friendly. The food was excellent and fresh. I had the Mexican tacos carnitas and a chili relleno. The salsa that came with the chips was so fresh and delicious! I also love the hot sauce that I requested with my meal. It had a great flavor and a good amount of heat.

Been here plenty of times and it’s been great, but recently the service was HORRIBLE, ordered cheese dip and took 10 minutes to come out and was also cold. Server was never to be seen and also asked for more chips and never received our basket back, was never asked for refills, we were the only people in the restaurant. Food was great but service was disappointing.

I don’t write reviews off of one time experiences because I understand everyone has an off day so waited until we have been here several times. The food is great and the owner is very nice. Closest thing to authentic Mexican food in the area!

We have been here so SO many times, mostly because it’s close and it is our favorite salsa in Nicholasville. However, we have officially decided we will be making the trip somewhere else after countless times of getting awful service. We are basically ignored from the time we order until the time we leave. No refills, getting the check takes 20 minutes, & the order is usually messed up as well. One worker is busy talking to people & the other just pretends she doesn’t see us. Very unfortunate!

Average food. The steak fajitas didn’t have very much seasoning & were a bit bland. My friend got a burrito and said the same thing. I will say, we got the double order of fajitas for 2 people and it was a very generous portion. There was enough there for probably 4 people. They give you 1 free basket of tortilla chips but charge for any additional chips, which is unusual. I can understand doing that for people who don’t order food, or having a minimum $ requirement in order to receive free chips, but when you spend as much as we did on food I feel like they shouldn’t charge for an extra basket of chips. The service was quick. It wasn’t very busy, we were seated quickly and received our food pretty fast. Our server wasn’t exactly rude but wasn’t very friendly either ( I don’t think he smiled at all). It was an ok experience but I would probably try a different place next time.

The most well seasoned food in town. Very friendly service. Great off the menu Hot Salsa. Live music on Friday nights. I recommend the pineapple fajitas or chili Colorado.
