I placed a phone Order El Paso Plate they said 10 minutes I was there in 8 minutes
When I got there no one to acknowledge anyone at the door . Employee on the phone taking so I waited For her to finish her 124 dollar Oder and repeated back to the person on the phone . Once she’s done she asked how can she help me . I replied by saying I’m here to pick up . She had an attitude with her reply like I’m supposed to say something else . She said with a tone not so welcoming is it door dash or phone Order . I told her it was a phone order and proceed with my total of $20 and some change. The food was cold and tasted like it came straight out the can . They gave me a big bag of chips terrible CHIPS THEY WHERE SO OLD AND STUCK TOGETHER LAYERS AND THE OIL ON THE FOOD AND CHIPS DISGUSTING . What a waste of money

Another one of those places where the bar looks almost too inviting and the $5 mojitos flow fast. Brightly colored decor and upbeat, modern Spanish music almost give this a “Club” vibe. Even during the day. There is also great drink menu and actual skilled barmaids. A long with that I was also impressed by the fantastic salsa and the very original black bean dipped that arrived with chips every so lightly, still oily. All that’s even before I order a burrito supreme and for being a common item these lovely folks made it absolutely perfectly. Packed with good ground beef and smothered in a spicy red sauce. Alongside was crispy lettuce, snappy pico, and a smooth guacamole. Even the unsweet tea was delicious.

Our server Gladys was spot on, positive, and handled our special requests with grace and ease. Loved the black bean dip and queso (with beef). Came for lunch, service was a bit slow to get to me upfront, only a few patrons eating. Chips were cooked but salsa tasted diluted. Waitress who was the same as front attendant seemed nonchalant or was not trained. Ordered the special for lunch which thought was a great deal. Food came out but I had no utensils and had to request. Unfortunately the beef taco was not great (too greasy, no flavor) and the special only shined with the quesadilla as anything with beef was bland and missing salt. Ended up closing the tab which was provided with a pen that didn’t work and going to Taco truck, which is a shame considering I used to visit this spot every time I visited Navarre. Atmosphere was cool, but this place could use a facelift in service and food that I would like to see.

Don’t let the unassuming exterior fool you, this Mexican restaurant has a ton of personality. There’s plenty of space inside that’s a well balanced mix of a large horseshoe bar, intimate booths, and large communal benches, perfect for large groups. The hosts and servers are friendly and accommodating. The food assortment is probably what you’d expect, but they do a good job of keeping the menu down to a manageable size, unlike a lot of comparable Mexican restaurants in the area which have huge menus but little actual variety. Cocktails are great and come with elevated garnishes. The interior had a fairly recent renovation, and has a modern casual vibe similar to what you’d find in trendier Mexican restaurants in larger cities, so is a very welcome addition to the neighborhood.

I don’t really like Mexican food. But my kids took me to this Mexican restaurant. I ordered Carne Asada… Oh! It’s so delicious!!! I’m going there again for dinner tomorrow and I’ll order this dish again.
The kids liked all the other traditional dishes too.
The place has a wonderful relaxed friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend trying it if you’re in Navarre.

We love going to El Paso Tacos & Tequila and we are usually there three days out of the week. It is very friendly, good music, very clean, delicious drinks and tasty food!

Fajitas are an excellent value for the money, likely the best option on the menu. In my experience, the portion size and variety make them a standout choice. For example, while a taco bowl at $14 offers standard ingredients like lettuce, cheese, guacamole, and a tortilla bowl, opting for fajitas gives you similar ingredients but with larger portions for just a bit more. It’s like ordering a Chipotle bowl and getting tortillas on the side—you end up with more food for nearly the same price.
I’m a bit disappointed with my recent order of a taco bowl and street tacos. In hindsight, I should have just ordered two fajitas. The steak, shrimp, and chicken in the fajitas taste noticeably better than the proteins in the taco bowl or street tacos. If I had known this, I would have skipped the tacos and gone straight for the fajitas, which offer better flavor and value.
Also, our server was friendly, but a little rough on communication skills. Not a big deal though.
Overall, I would come back to dine here.

I’m so glad we discovered this gem in Navarre! Super good food, fun delicious cocktails and friendly staff! We visited twice during our trip. We will definitely be back when we come to Navarre again!

Such a fun environment! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Ordered to go and was pleased with our selections. Would advise against hard shell tacos to go. Or ask for ingredients to be packaged separately. Overall great experience and will be back!
