You experience three times better taste and pay three times less than U expect.
After I failed to get real baguettes in few bakeries, I didn’t have any expectations about this store with the not-at-all-fancy outterior of this store. The baguettes were all sold out when I got their just before 20minutes the store close. After I asked what was the most similar bread to baguettes he suggested the poppy seed bread and I also asked the most popular sweets among all the sweet section. I always had not liked the colorful piece when I’ve seen them any showindows in bakeries coz of the artificial color. But omg. The bread was totally pure and fresh taste with just perfect level of saltiness. The rainbow cake also made sure the fact that this store purely focuses on its products and taste. Another one I ordered was cannoli. Their cannoli tasted totally different compared to other one Ive had. For The Bakery’s one, I was not overwhelmed by crazily sweet cream. I couldn’t feel tone of sugar+palm oil taste. Also their sweets didn’t leave any unpleasant sweetness on my tongue. How!! Amazing. Even better than so many fake Italian bakeries in the city. This Bakery bakery seems to not aim to earn money, but they are honest and responsible about their business!

Normally I dont leave reviews, but the customer service here is so good I had to. Not to mention they have really good bread and baked items.
The older gentleman that works there Saturday afternoon is extremely polite and welcoming. I went in today to buy an italian and French bread and hes always thoughtful and makes sure I get to pick out the one I want. I appreciate the service. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Fantastic bread. If you wonder how it is that your local sandwich shop or Italian deli always has better rolls or bread than you get at the supermarket, it is most likely because they place orders from a bakery just like this one. My wife’s a baker, so when we’re not having her bread, we’re having bread from Bakery. They produce a great tasting, fresh product; I like to think of them as my community hearth. Pizza dough is also quite good, and convenient.

I moved from Bergenfield a few years ago now, but the entire time I did live there over 20 some odd years this bakery was the gem of my existence, the bread is unmatched, fresh daily, crunchy outside fluffy and soft inside and the pastries delightful, great service and family owned. The dad, daughter and son are all so kind as well. Really miss this place.

I used to go to this place a lot and I thought $4 for loaf of bread was a little on the high price but didn’t bother me as much. But now it went up to $5 a loaf. I know things are expensive now adays and concious that the price of ingredients might have gone up and maybe if it went up to $4.50 I wouldn’t have mind. But instead it went up a whole dollar. So for me that was my last time going there.
