Came here for dinner one night. Ordered beef quesadilla and the 5 beef street taco special. Didn’t have to wait long for the food to be served. The quesadilla was great and the flavor was on point! The soft tacos were very good as well. Small, but you get 5 so that will fill you up. The salsa should be in a bowl maybe. It was hard to squeeze out of the bottle they have. Next time I want to try their brunch.

Tried Taste of Mexico for the first time on Taco Tuesday and I was blown away. I consider myself a taco trash panda and let me tell you these tacos were in a league of their own. First off, there are approximately 10 different proteins to choose from ( not including soy/tofu) and the super nice lady at the register didn’t care how much variety we wanted on our 5 taco plate. We got Al Pastor (amazing) Carne Guisada, Bistek Con Chile, Puerco En Salsa Verde and Beef Steak and they were all delicious. They pack the meat into those delectable corn tortillas! They were so good that we had to get 5 more to share even though we were getting full. The sauces, mild medium and hot (green salsa) all had great flavors as well. The only disappointment was the fact that I live 45 minutes away from this place. I’ll definitely make the trek to get my fix. Taste of Mexico has ruined street tacos (from anywhere else) for me forever. . Can’t wait to go back!

I had an amazing experience at Taste of Mexico! The owner, Mrs. Diana, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She was so patient with my mom, who had a hard time deciding what to order, and even let her sample different meats and dishes. The atmosphere is modern and spotless, and they even offer a weekly brunch buffet that looks fantastic. I had the vegetarian fajita tacos, and they were absolutely delicious, so flavorful that even my mom ended up taking some to go! She had the beef tacos and loved them too, but the veggie tacos stole the show. Overall, it’s a five-star spot, and I can’t wait to come back!

i order doordash from them all the time(always delicious)and i recently came in for the first time in person last week and still was not disappointed!! the owner is the sweetest ever and the service done by dustin was great:) i’ve been vegan for around 3 months and i love mexican food and knowing that i have a place that can accommodate and just super friendly is amazing. highly recommend if you’re looking for awesome mexican food.

I can’t brag about TOM more. Everything is delicious and fresh. From tacos, tortas, salsa and aguas frescas, it’s all flavorful. We live closer to Galveston but we’ll always be customers!

Terrible experience. I’m not certain how they have good reviews. Perhaps I decided to try this place out once their business was dying out. I sent my husband to pick up some food for he, myself, and our 3 year old. First off, the older woman working there was EXTREMELY rude. My husband is from Mexico and he’s a chef. He simply asked her about an item on the menu (a meat) cause they named it something different than authentic Mexican restaurants name it. She gave him attitude, spoke to him like he was a moron, and was outright an awful person. Then my husband ordered cilantro, onion, and tomatoes on our tacos. They had none of that. The meat in the tacos were just pure chewy gross fat. The nachos were sub-par. The hot dog, which i was hoping would be a classic Sonoran dog, was made with hate. It was either microwaved or boiled. Not grilled like authentic Sonoran dogs. It tasted awful. They forgot to give my husband the horchata he ordered, which disappointed my son and I cause we were really looking forward to that. THEN to top it all off, we all had food poisoning the next day. My 3 year old was crying and puking all day. We all had stomach aches and just felt like crud. I do NOT recommend this place and will never return.

How could you not love this place. We spend a lot of time doing car ride dates, we’ve eaten every taco in Houston. This place stands out above all. The owners are the kindest and the food is fresh and right. The vibe inside in on point and everything is clean. Really clean. WE WILL BE BACK. Customer for life. Ps. I didn’t think I would eat all five street tacos but I couldn’t stop.
