Allie was our server during our Sunday brunch visit. She was amazing and had great recommendations! We are very happy with the variety of plant-based options! Prices are typical for midtown Sacramento, and there’s nearby, paid parking.
Unfortunately, my experiences have been repeatedly soured by one member of the team: the hostess with curly hair and ponytails.
While I understand everyone can have an off day, multiple visits have shown the same pattern of dismissive behavior. No eye contact, no “thank you,” no basic courtesy–just a cold, transactional interaction that makes you feel invisible.
What stings even more is watching her attitude completely shift for the couple behind us, suddenly warm and engaging. As someone who comes often, it’s particularly disappointing to never feel welcomed at the door.
It’s frustrating because everything else about this restaurant is so strong. The kitchen delivers, the servers deliver, but that first impression at the door can really color the entire experience. I hope management addresses this, because the rest of the team deserves better representation, and this place has so much potential to be a top-tier spot without that friction point.
Would I return? Yes, for the food and service. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t brace myself a little when walking through the door.
Be sure to become a wine club member for the special events, perks, and other discounts.
Adria, Sam, Sam, Ozzy, and the rest of the staff are incredible as well and always make my wife and I feel VIP.
Cannot recommend this place enough!!
After driving by Rev a million times to shop at the Sacramento Co-op, decided to finally go for brunch with my buddy. It was the right decision for many reasons. It’s a popular spot, with seating both indoors and outdoors. The service was on point from the greeting to the table service throughout our meal. We kicked it off with mimosas that were bubbly and refreshing. It was a little too early for us to do wine, but I’ll be back to try them and their regular menu. We ordered off their brunch menu, that had a plethora of delicious options. The pumpkin donuts were a sugar, cinnamon and pumpkin delight. The rest were fantastic, full of flavor and cooked just right. The prices were very reasonable across the menu too. Highly recommend and will be coming back soon.
This restaurant has so much potential, and I love the esthetic as well as the plant-based focus, but it’s just not practical.
However, on my recent visit the burger I had asked for to be cooked medium was well done, and the size of their portions seemed to have shrunk as well. Service wise the waiter was pleasant with exception to the hostess. I look forward to giving it one more try in the near future.
The ambience has always been delightful.
