This place used to be great and used to get my bagels here weekly. However the last few months I’ve noticed it go downhill with the quality of the bagels. Every time they have been hard and not good. This morning, I decided to try again and ask for light colored bagels in hopes they would not be hard, but this is what I got. The ticket even said soft bagels. It’s as if they went out of their way to find the most burnt bagels. They’re hard and crunchy and just not good. Will not be going back anymore.

Tried this place today for the first time! Can not wait to go back. Pork roll egg and cheese on a gutted toasted habañero bagel! Didn’t expect much spice from the bagel but it was pleasantly spicy and perfectly toasted. I wish I understood how people can leave such negative reviews from a place that is obviously doing their best. And their best is good enough for me!! Can not wait to go back and try more of their delicious items. Priced right and very delicious! They even had a french toast bagel which my date was very happy to see, as not all bagel places have them. Would give six stars if possible. And the NE clam chowder was DEE-lish!!!!!

What a lovely little mom & pop cafe! The bagels were delicious, and the jalapeño cream cheese brings the right amount of heat. Everyone behind the counter was friendly, and made sure I was well taken care of. Will definitely return when I’m back in town!

We did an order on our way through the area. All of the food we ordered was delicious, filling and good quality. The turkey club was truly the best I ever had (I think it may have been seasoned turkey they used?) It had a different flavor to it than experienced before and the bread was perfectly toasted and not overly toasted like some of the club sandwiches can be. Fries were great, bagels great, everything. If we’re going through the area ever again, we will definitely stop.

I always go out of my way to eat lunch at Dolce. The sandwiches are the best! I just wish they would use a less crusty and hearty bread. I would like a good 50/50 bread to meat ratio. It’s delicious none the less. The pastries are awesome too. Affordable, tasty and a great variety. Highly recommended when you are in the Barnegat area.

I don’t know how this place gets so much business. Hard almost seemingly old bagles. Cream cheese does most of the heavy lifting because these have no flavor. Pork roll egg and cheese is seriously one egg, one slice of pork roll, and a peice of cheese. It’s mostly cheese. You have to really look for the egg and meat. Apple turnovers have next to no filling and have a strange aftertaste. Practically empty. Really don’t taste the apples. Expensive for what it is. There are better places. Not to mention it’s really hot in there so no eating in. Only positive is for how busy they are food is done quick
