I got my meltdown thru door dash so I can’t comment on service or atmosphere but I can say they hit the mark with this! The bacon me crazy had me in happy “fat back” tears! The bread buttery and toasted crunch, chicken moist and tender, bacon crispy just all around great sandwich. The fries even had a crunch after the travel to get to me! 10/10 thank you for a great sammich!

Gonna be real, I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this place. Maybe they didn’t realize that it was a virtual kitchen operating out of a Denny’s, but as a grilled cheese and melt super fan, their offerings are the best you can find in Manassas. They don’t skimp on the cheese or bread like some restaurants do for the price point. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ordered a $9 sandwich somewhere and get a glorified American cheese on white bread that I could make at home.
Not at Meltdown though (and Denny’s in general). Sure, the basic grilled cheese they offer could easily be made at home if you pick up a sour dough loaf and all the three different cheeses, but that’s why it’s the cheapest sandwich on their menu. Because of this, $7.50 is completely reasonable for a no-nonsense, well-made grilled cheese. The more signature melts also great and worth the price.
My only complaint is I wish they added a few more menu items, especially ones that are offered at the physical location they operate out of. Namely, a patty melt and the fried cheese melt.
Overall, if you’re craving a cheesy sandwich, you can’t go wrong with this location.
