Was my nephew‘s birthday Saturday and we got a cake a chocolate cake from this location and it had a blonde hair in it. I tried to come back in and talk to the general manager. They were very rude. Both of them was telling me we have no call in the system. Nobody wrote down anything about your call. It’s embarrassing to be in front of 18 people and there’s a blonde hair when I serve my nephew, his first slice the manager didn’t even care not one of them wear a hairnet. Every person in Dairy Queen has long hair. There’s no hair nets not even the gloves very very, very rude. Looked at me like I was trash.

I ordered through the drive-thru today and again my order was incorrect. I really want to like this location, but this is the 3rd time in the past month that my order was wrong. Twice in the drive-thru and once at the counter. Things are trending in the wrong direction! I wonder if this is a capacity issue or something else. It’s close which is convenient, but I don’t know that I can handle more screw ups before I stop going to Dairy Queen for food. Very disappointing! Management, which was present physically, does not seem to be present mentally!

Ordered a ice cream cake for 10 yr old, asked for a black lab……got a bulldog, for 30 dollars I expected a correct order, still yummy….its ice cream, this isnt the first cake lately that has been incorrect, at least it was a dog I guess LOL

Waited 25 minutes after ordering my food in the drive-thru for them to not make my food. (10 cars had gone through and gotten their food in this time) One of the employees came out to my car and had to ask what food I ordered. After telling him what I had ordered I waited 10 more minutes before going inside to get a refund. Waited 5 more minutes for someone to even help me and get me a refund. Only thing that was said in a low mono tone was “I’m sorry”. TLDR waited almost 45 minutes to not get any food and have a half assed sorry and two coupons for a blizzard.
Entire business being ran by teenagers of which seem to have no service/management experience. Huge coaching opportunity for the manager/owner.

Absolutely love both locations in Brainerd. The owner works with her employees 100% hands on. She always carries on the conversation from the last time we stopped. Then her crew carry that same graceful spirit. Every business has its bad day but DQ in Brainerd doesn’t have many of those days that I’ve seen.
