Nice place, free parking, quiet. I asked for water, they gave to me. The cheese cake though needed more flavor. I am used to cheese cakes with a sharp cheese and sweet flavor. This specific cheese cake they sell was insipidous—when it comes to cheese cakes in general.

Got the boba milk tea and PSL. The tapioca were super soft and mushy, don’t think it was prepared properly. The tea was good though. The interior is very spacious and clean. Staff are friendly too. Didn’t order any good but the selection seems decent.

I ordered a macchiato cream cake for my mom’s birthday. The service was quick and smooth and the cake was surprisingly good. Everyone loved how the cream strongly tasted of coffee with little sweetness to it. It greatly balanced out with the sweet cake!

The texture of the bread is great. Just drove by to get some bread plus a Sea salt coffee as a simple lunch.
The coffee was too sweet. If you are sweet tooth, you will like it.
In my definition, good coffee, no need to add sugar but a bit cream will do.

This is a cake shop from China. The taste is very delicious. The taste is better than that of American cake shops, but not as sweet as American cakes. The lobby of the shop is very beautiful and clean. Many customers come to buy. It is a cake shop that my children and I like.

UPDATE 6/3/23: I came and tried the sea salt foam matcha latte from their matcha series drink ($4.85 for large 22oz). The service was decent and drinks took maybe 3 minutes to be ready. Not a really long line to order and pay for bread.
Pre-ordered their Sweet Strawberry Cream chiffon cake for their Mother’s Day special and green milk tea. The cake was $28.05 and not worth. If not for their special, I would not have ordered this. The pick up did not go smoothly. I had to wait around 15 minutes even though it was pre-ordered. I did get the cake and drinks in the end, but it was suspicious how long it took for them to retrieve my cake when it should have been ready.
HOWEVER, the cake was really disappointing. The creme brulee and strawberry mousse layers in the cake tasted icy and frozen! (Included a picture of the creme brulee layer that appears frozen and tasted icy) That shouldn’t have been the case if it was made fresh that day for pickup, so that was very unsatisfactory. The cream and chiffon layers were alright though, not too sweet. Also, the cake was missing the “Happy Mother’s Day” white chocolate sign even though the cake was advertised as having it for their special. Very disappointed in how the cake turned out. It seems like they just took the cake out of a freezer and gave it over.
Their green milk tea was also pretty decent, although it was a bit sweet. I will not be coming back for their cakes again, nor will I pre-order cakes from here again.

The pastry are good, it is a hit and miss depending on what you try, but there are a variety of choices. The drinks are just okay, it looks prettier than it taste unfortunately. It isn’t mixed well the coffee/tea, it tastes so water down the flavor is majorly lacking. The location is on a busy street and no street parking, free parking in the back of the plaza, at least shade for your cars. 😉

85C is a Western-style bakery with Oriental flavors, and you can eat in, but most of it is bought home. I like to buy birthday cake here very much, the price is not expensive, the taste is very rich and delicious. Besides, there are more options for small desserts, which the girls love.
