Drinks were fun and delicious. Date night with my daughter. Sunset was perfect with the spot she chose for us. A must to revisit.
I love fruity drinks, flowers always add a sweet touch.
We walked up 3 flights of stairs to a very hot (No fans, nada) little bar with 1 bar tender serving the entire place.
Unfortunately between the woke “Bad Bunny promo on the bar top to the bar tender that was too busy to even say hi or turn around to say I’ll be right with you we decided to leave after a few minutes of sitting with nothing.
There was what I suppose was a manager doing inventory on the first flight of stairs that saw us walk up and didnt greet us or anything and then came up right after us saw us sitting at the bar and didnt say a word amd walked into the back.
So long story short we left and went next door to their competitors and got sat and served right away… Whoops!
It’s located on the main street in Gilbert where there’s a little walking and shopping one can do, and there was a good bit of parking available.
We were seated promptly at a booth with a perfect view of the sunset (a full hour ahead of the time I made a reservation for). Our host offered to raise the visor and gave us a stunning view of the evening sunset. Drinks were ordered and enjoyed. They have a really cool selection of unique drink choices you won’t find elsewhere.
For the appetizer we got the yucca fries. These are a must. We were blown away by how good they were, the yucca was perfectly fried, crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.
We ordered the filet mignon on potato pancakes for our main. That was when we decided we’ll be coming back here every anniversary. We couldn’t believe how good it was, there’s some real craftsmanship going on in the kitchen here. Even the veggies laid on top were flawless. The view of the desert sun slowly sinking into the mountains was the perfect backdrop for our night out.
For an entree we had the fry bread which comes in a vegetarian or chicken Tonga option. We had chicken Tonga and it tasted just like a super unique one of a kind pizza.
Service was good. We talked with the chef about his new menu. Bartender was bubbly and nice. Could have been more attentive but her personality made up for it.
You should go here. On a Tuesday we arrived 30 minutes before sunset and got the best sunset viewing spots!
