Writing this while still in the restaurant so I don’t forget later to share how good this place is. Had a Gujarati Thali and Jamun shots, felt like I was home(Amdavad).
Cherry on the cake is that Thalis are now unlimited so you can savor until you’ve reached your Foodgasm.

We had an amazing experience at Jai Hind Restaurant today (01/01) on New Year’s Day. We tried the Gujarati Thali, Vada Pav, Veg Frankie, and Pani Puri, and everything was fresh, delicious, and full of authentic flavors.
Out of curiosity, I started chatting with one of the staff members and learned that they prepare food fresh every morning in limited quantities, and then scale up based on demand—making everything fresh again. You can truly feel that freshness in the food quality.
The Dhokla (part of the thali) and the Poori were my personal favorites. Overall, a wonderful place for anyone looking to enjoy pure vegetarian Indian food. Highly recommended!

I had a Gujarati thali and I just wiped it clean! I usually never finish my food but this one was too good to leave even a single grain of rice behind. The kadhi and undhyu were so authentic, the likes of which I’ve only had in Gujarati weddings or thali restaurants in India. The food was unbelievable, made with pure ghee and pure love! I live on the east coast and came to Arizona for work, am glad I stopped by this place. It’s owned and run by a bunch of really sweet people.

Have you ever been to a restaurant that you just can’t stop thinking about? I’ve traveled the country and Jay Hind is hands down in my top 3 favorite restaurants nationwide. I think about it until we’re in Chandler, and once we’ve eaten, I think about it again. The decor is done well, the music is fun, and it’s peaceful. The service is top notch and the owner himself will serve you with a smile.
But the food. It’s the food that makes this a place worthy of a 100 mile drive, maybe even 1000 miles. “Is this magic?” Asked my husband, and that’s a fair ask. We’ve tried about 10 things from the menu and I whole heartedly believe if you closed your eyes and pointed to an item, you’d be happy. Each bite is rich with vibrant spice, satisfying the senses and offering true satiation. The veggie burger and garlic naan is a staple, but the dahi sev puri, paneer paratha, teeka masala, and masala chole bhature will have you wondering why you even eat meat.
It’s flavorful, satisfying, and despite the full feeling, doesn’t automatically result in the dreaded food coma. You can’t beat this food for the price, and one experience here will have you wondering why you didn’t try it sooner.
No, I wasn’t paid for this review. I just love it that much.

During my visit from Chicago to Arizona, I had the pleasure of dining at Jayhind Restaurant, and it was an absolute delight. The food was incredibly delicious, truly a culinary experience worth savoring. What stood out the most was the exceptional quality of the dishes, especially considering the very reasonable prices. It’s rare to find a place that balances taste, quality, and affordability so well. Without a doubt, I give Jayhind Restaurant a solid 5 out of 5 stars. A must-visit for anyone in the area.

I came from New York to Arizona and was looking for some good Gujarati vegetarian food and came across here. I must say it is one of the best places I have eaten at. I had cheese bhaji pav, pani puri and there amazing milkshakes. I would have to say the best thing I had was the cheese bhaji pav. This place is a must and it won’t be the last time I come here.

Jay Hind Indian Cuisine is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff made us feel right at home. The menu is a delightful journey through authentic Indian flavors, with each dish bursting with rich, perfectly balanced spices. The butter chicken was creamy and divine, the biryani fragrant and packed with flavor, and the garlic naan was perfectly crispy yet soft. Even the mango lassi was a refreshing treat! The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made great recommendations. If you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine, Jay Hind is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

Wow, what an excellent choice! Was hungry for an Indian dish and decided to try Jay Hinds this evening. Had never been here before and didn’t know that they do not serve meat; totally fine for me because the paneer tikka masala was incredibly savory with garlic naan. I loved the comfortable atmosphere with beautiful decor and the service was great. Had a nice conversation with the chef. This is a family owned place and I will absolutely be back. I am so happy I tried this place, instantly a new favorite.
