Firstly, Golden Chick is my absolute favorite place to eat, so I’ll be as critical as I can.
The location is right off the interstate which made it wonderful to find since there weren’t many drive thru locations as far as I could see. The parking lot has a nice huge area to park after ordering. It was pretty dead the day we went. We were the only ones using the drive thru. The customer service was really nice and helpful.
Here are the cons first:
I ordered a big and juicy but was served the big and wicked, if I’m understanding correctly. The sweet spicy sauce wasn’t pleasant. Reminded me of a spicy pimento cheese/mayo. My fault, I should have said plain. I don’t care for the pickles either, so if you don’t, give them the deets.
The bun on the sandwich was dry and hard on the outside. I was hoping for a better experience.
The food was hot and flavorful, however. I enjoy topping my sandwich with fries and a drizzle of cream gravy. At the window, I ordered the gravy last due to forgetfulness and they helped without fret.
My kids really enjoyed their meals. They’re always excited to eat at Golden Chick.
Besides the hard bread and slightly incorrect order, this place has the potential to be 5 stars! Keep up the good work!

I arrived to the restaurant after work to get some dinner and I was greeted by the person on the speaker. I asked about their spicy chicken sandwich and they told me it had a 10 minute wait, they asked if I was okay with waiting so I asked them about their spicy chicken strips and they said they only had 4 which was perfect cause I wanted the 3 piece. So I told them the rest of my order and the lady told me they all 4 of them in the box to apologize for the inconvenience. This is the reason I love Golden Chick!

Now I see why they at 3.7 review score. Fries literally burnt and so is the chicken. Food had a funny odor to it. Employees there now are so bitter and with an attitude. Never coming back here again.As I continued to finish the food i purchased, wow!! The food was over powering with that nasty taste and odor.

Service was quick and professional but the sandwich was inedible and the bread was stale and harder than a jaw breaker – I should’ve check like I usually do but it was lunch time and I was in a rush. The chicken I wouldn’t feed to my worst enemy.

Came here to purchase through drive through and they claimed that some of the orders were only online orders. But I ordered from the menu, and only 2 people were working but they seemed to not really want to make chicken. Walked in and they were slow moving and pur orders were simple. Why are there only 2 people working? Where are the grown ups that work there? We left!!!

Their bread is amazing, so soft and fluffy, ask for butter and honey, we get it every time!!! The staff was especially welcoming and service was on point!!! The restaurant was clean and spacious. We have 2 teenagers and 3 little ones, this restaurant was very kid friendly!!! After the super fresh, hot, moist, crispy and tasty fried chicken with Mac & Cheese, our kids enjoyed delicious soft serve and even a 25 cent win every time egg machine!!! Thank you Tee, Jesse and Juana!!!

I never leave bad Reviews. This time I have no choice. We ordered 4 meals, spicy tenders, they gave us Regular Tenders, Bread was hard, food was cold,
We also ordered Roasted Chicken we requested no wings (they gave us a wing) Chicken was burnt, seems like is had been sitting there for hours it was black and hard. Worst service & food I’ve ever experienced. It seems like no one knew what they were doing.
Also No straws, forks, napkins etc..
We will never go there again anytime soon..

We just got food from their drive-thru, and come to find out, they completely messed up our order. The bread was stale, the chicken was old, and they didn’t include any straws. We ordered spicy tenders but got regular ones instead. When we called to let them know, the lady who answered was very rude. Horrible customer service — I’ll be taking my business elsewhere next time.

Corn nuggets tasted like warm plastic.
Gravy everywhere in the bag because they can’t be bothered to use the great packaging they used to have. Waited a year to give them another chance and it’s worse than when they would mess up the order. Gravy is just watery too.
