Three of us dined at Manny’s this evening. We got the lamb special, which is only served one week per month, a lamb/beef gyro, which was scrumptious, the fried cheese, which was the best I’ve ever had, and a dessert.
I’ve been to Greece, and this is authentic and so flavorful. Manny and his staff were all very pleasant and hospitable. We plan on coming back next year when we return to Acadia National Park.

We had heard great things about this place so we decided to pop in on our way out of town for lunch. We were all so glad we did! The GPS directions made it seem (to us) like the restaurant was located in the front of the plaza with the rest of the store-fronts, but the entrance is actually on the right SIDE of the building if you’re facing the plaza. 🙂 If you don’t see it, just keep driving around and you’ll see it! The food was made fresh and the service was amazing! I got a small Greek salad and it was very good, but you’d definitely need a meat option added to use that as a meal, otherwise get the large — either way it’s a win! The meat there is packed with flavor. The other members of my family had a gyro pita and OMG was that a huge portion! They all loved it. I wish I had a picture of anyone else’s plate but my own, but I don’t. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We all agreed that we would stop here again if we were in the area!

Really, really, really excellent Gyro pita. Taste great . Odd location but don’t let that stop you from going in. My advice, pre order. Wait times can be looong with even a few orders ahead of you.

The staff are super friendly, the venue is cute and very clean, the pricing is fair, portions are very generous, and they were accommodating to a slightly modified order.
Then there’s the FOOD. Amazing flavor, but hey plenty of places have good flavor. The texture really separates this place from others. The pita is fluffy and doughy, but also crispy on top! The chicken is tender without being squishy. The tzatziki is thick and luscious without being too heavy. They dole out olive oil judiciously to balance it all.
The biggest disappointment is that we’re just vacationing here and can’t get this every day. Other than that though, it’s fantastic!

Absolutely delicious! The tzatziki is the best I’ve ever had! The gluten free pita is so good you wouldn’t even know it was gluten free! The staff was so friendly and very helpful! They checked on us often and made sure we were enjoying our visit!
This place is a true gem and we will definitely be back!

AMAZING food. We stopped in after a long day of driving. Service was friendly and quick, and the staff were so kind and personable. I was impressed with watching Manny cook and make some jokes as well.
My boyfriend and I were both starving, and the food did not disappoint. It was so filling yet didn’t feel heavy… There isn’t a lot of Greek restaurants in Maine, but this is definitely a hit.

OMG! Hard to miss little Greek restuarant but worth searching for. The food here is amazing. Friendly atmosphere. Wonderful staff. Great prices. The owner behind the grill is very approachable. Highly recommend this place for a quick bite or a full meal.

This is a little hidden jem in Downeast Maine we found just before moving to Texas. The food is so authentic and delicious that we never miss an opportunity to stop in when we’re back in Maine. We always get the greek fries which are amazing and the gyro pitas

Pros: Staff is friendly, cake was delicious, bathroom was clean.
Cons: $14 for PORK gyro, not even lamb. Meat was very fatty.
Up charged for pita bread which should be served with any gyro plate from here to Greece.
Greek Fries = soggy fries
Cake slice was half the size of the menu picture, about 1/16 a normal cake, which is half the traditional size of a take out slice of cake. I could’ve finished it in two large bites.
Had I paid $26 for this meal I would’ve been ok with that, but $50 for pork meat and small serving sizes is outrageous.
The food tasted decent, but not spectacular.
Not trying to be a troll, but they are not up to par with other Greek restaurants I’ve visited from Colorado to Texas.
I’m not sure how they are top rated…
