This “hole in the wall” has really good food. Service was fast and friendly. Not a big selection of Ecuadorian food but they have the most popular ones available. Food was fresh and tasted good. I took and added a picture of the traditional Ecuadorian food. They also have some appetizers to endulge while the food arrives.

We found Happy Burger through Tampa Bites & Sites on TikTok, and it’s exactly the kind of place that reminds you why simple food done right still wins. No shortcuts, no rush—just fresh, made-to-order burgers that actually taste like someone cares. The sign up front says it all: this isn’t fast food, it’s real food. Juicy burger, perfectly cooked fries, and a laid-back, old-school feel that’s getting harder to find. If you want a solid, honest burger without the hype, this spot delivers every time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Tropical Flavor Feast at The Happy Burger!

What a fantastic experience! My family and I visited The Happy Burger recently, and from start to finish, it was a delight.

From the moment we walked in, the vibe was lively and welcoming — the music playing really added to the atmosphere. The service was friendly, prompt, and full of smiles.

We ordered a bunch of different dishes so we could taste lots of things:
• I had the Big Double Bacon Burger — wow. It was excellent, with a unique Ecuadorian-style flavor that made it stand out from any burger I’ve ever had.
• My wife tried the Cuban Sandwich accompanied by plantains — flavorful, satisfying, and a perfect balance of savory and sweet.
• The kids were happy: they devoured a fish sandwich, a chicken sandwich, and a classic burger — all of which were done right.
• I also got a cheese empanada on the side, and it was fantastic: crispy, warm, cheesy, just right.
• The fruit drinks were refreshing and full of real flavor, and the café con leche was rich, smooth, and delicious.

Everything we tried was top notch — from the savory to the sweet, from the drinks to the desserts (well, empanada in my case!). Add in the fun music, the vibrant ambiance, and the cheerful staff — it made for a memorable meal.

If you’re looking for a place with personality, real flavor, and a welcoming energy, The Happy Burger is absolutely worth a visit. We’re already planning our next trip back. Highly recommended!

I found this place as I was leaving the gas station. I first saw burgers…but thwn saw that they served Ecuadorian cuisine…so stepped in.
I was greeted by the very friendly server and offered a table. But I was not planning on eating there.
Atmosphere was cozy. And not loud.
The dishes looked delicious. Too many to pick from. I opted for an assortment of items amd enjoyed them all. Next time I will try a few other dishes and ofcourse their burger.
Try them out.

This was a nice spot to eat . Small location but cozy .the atmosphere was open , organized, and you have two tvs . Plenty of sitting . The Spanish music was good . They have plenty of drink options and foods to choose from . The waitress was a delight , informative, polite , cheerful and made recommendations. Let me tell you this, im born and raised in Miami . I always think Miami has better anything . But this Pan con bistec sandwich . Like Wow it was so good . I was like I will difently make another hr drive to have it here again . I also tried thier Lentil rice cheese with steak and Maduros also good .

Burgers were very big and very delicious. Juicy and the bacon is cooked very well. They have a homemade sauce that comes on the burgers that makes it extra delicious with the toasted buns. You might pay $15 for a burger but it will be better than five guys and it’s worth it if you have the money and they offer live music at certain times.

Small hidden gem with authentic Ecuadorian flavors. The salchi-papá, arroz con menestra and jugo de mora were my favorite I will be coming back for more!

Saw this place as I was driving down Busch Gardens Blvd. Thought it would be a nice place to get something to eat. Ordered a cheese, and beef empanada to go. The waitress was nice and patient with me. The place was cute, little eatery with an Ecuadorian theme. As I was driving, I went for the cheese first. On the first bite I was confused because all I tasted was bread, when I looked at the empanada the glob of cheese sank to the bottom. I chalked it up to the heat. I let the empanada cool down for 10 min. I went to eat it, I swallowed a glob of cheese. Nothing special. I reached for the beef empanada. Half of it was gooey with oil dripping from it. Not only dripping but formed a pool of oil in my bag. Maybe it was an off day. I dont know but what I got was not edible. Trashed it.

Surprised that almost after a month the manager has not responded to say come back and we will give you properly cooked empanada, or even an apology. Most who gave a low score with no pictures received a response. I actually had proof showing the quality of the meal I won’t give this place a second try. Bad food, bad customer service. Good luck.
