With our amazing range of scratch prepared menu items, we truly have something for everyone. The Five-Four promise is to forever uphold our tradition of serving generous portions of housemade food and drink at an honest price. 54th Street welcomes you for all occasions.

Service ☆☆ needs work
Atmosphere ☆☆☆☆
When you dine out you expect to have Good service for when you dine. It was my birthday celebration to which the Service we had was a BIG let down. Food was great atmosphere was nice but the Poor Service led to a Bad experience for what was supposed to be a wonderful time with friends. I recommend retraining all the way around for staff members to realize how to make a customers time dining out feel fun and exciting. Instead we were shown the door on an early Thursday evening.
I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately this visit fell short.
The chicken was very dry, and the service was somewhat slow, but my biggest concern was the restroom situation. After washing my hands, I realized there was no paper towel dispenser and no hand-drying machine available. I had no choice but to dry my hands on my clothes.
That raises a serious sanitation concern. If customers are forced to dry their hands on their clothing, it’s reasonable to worry that employees may be doing the same, especially after handling food or trash. From a health and safety standpoint, that’s not acceptable. Proper hand-drying options are basic and necessary.
I hope management addresses this quickly, because food quality can improve-but sanitation should never be compromised.
One star due to food quality, service speed, and especially the restroom hygiene issue at Five‑Four South Austin.
Another issue was the bar tender and most of the the staff walking around looked stressed. I felt tension in the air from most of the staff, which made me uncomfortable. It would be nice if the staff genuanly smiled a little more. I felt like my bartender had a little attitude. One of the male servers rolled his eyes at me as he approached my table with a drink we ordered. This location has so much potential to be more. There was one lady who served us excellently. I think he name was Yuri. I greatly appreciate her helping me feel more at ease as I was trying to enjoy my food.
PS went there a second time and oh my, one of the BEST brussel sprouts everrrrrrrr!
Parking sucks, but then again, if they are busy, it’s because it’s good.
The Blackened 14oz rib eye is worth every bite.
Tator Kegs are amazing. The tequila wrappers next level.
