I took my son there for his birthday! We got the Tomahawk steaks!! Fried cabbage, fresh green beans, great Mac n cheese, cowboy beans, sweet potato fries, rolls to die for and a nice birthday cheesecake with everyone singing happy birthday!! Great people! Tomahawk steaks are pricey but worth it!

Went for my birthday with a few family members and they weren’t particularly busy when we got there. Drink orders took a while.
The bread and cinnamon butter was great. I had the special 12oz NY strip and grilled shrimp. The shrimp wasn’t grilled through. Maybe sautéed? It was good but wasn’t grilled as advertised.
When the waitress brought the steak, she said “I thought your steak would be bigger” I shared she same sentiment. Then I remembered I never told her I wanted a medium rare steak, and she hadn’t asked. It was cooked well done but had a good flavor. She said she would discount it for being overcooked. (She didn’t follow through with that.)
My son needed a refill for a while so I finally got up with his drink and found someone to get him a refill. The Mac and cheese was fantastic. The mashed potatoes and white gravy were good. Everyone else at the table found their food to be satisfactory. Service was just a bit lacking.

Excellent steak, tender, served with peppered butter and a perfect medium rare. The bacon cabbage is the best I’ve had, and now let’s talk about those sweet potato feies with caramel sauce OR spicy caramel sauce! We’ll be back!

Food was extra salty, be sure to ask for no salt if you are watching your intake. Chicken fried steak was good, mashed potatoes tasted of garlic but they said they didn’t have any. Had live music but not great. I’m sure some would have considered him ok but I would have preferred a lower volume. Prices seemed pretty steep for a small town place, was around $80 for 2 with no alcohol and they did charge extra $3 for using a card.

Waited the better part of an hour for a simple ribeye and fries…the steak arrives and I literally have lunch meat in my fridge that’s thicker. Flavor is pretty good, service is nice and professional, but I’d happily pay more for a reasonably sized piece of meat.

This place is amazing. The Ranch hand (10oz new york strip) was perfect. It was so tender and flavorful and cooked to perfection. The cabbage was so good, and the salad and its homemade croutons was really nice. The fried green tomatoes were spectacular, and the chicken fried steak is the best around. Even the green beans were great! Our server, Sam, was very friendly and attentive even though she was so incredibly busy. We’ll be back for sure!

Outstanding dining experience! Restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated and staff was very friendly and attentive to us. The food was amazing – very tasty and generous portions. All arrived at the table piping hot and fresh. We had a variety of dishes from steaks to fried shrimp to cheeseburger and appetizers from cheese sticks to calf fries to blooming onion to the elite corn dip with homemade potato chips. I highly recommend this place both for its food and the comfortable home town atmosphere !
