I’ve heard Win Hou is known for small meat portions, but this was beyond that. I ordered chicken and broccoli and received mostly broccoli with only two small pieces of chicken.
When I asked about ordering a combination plate instead, the woman at the front counter tried to steer me toward purchasing two separate dishes. When I questioned it, the interaction became noticeably uncomfortable.

This place is good ol fashion city Chinese food and the fact that its 3.5 is atrocious. Exactly what you want/hope for in the best way. New Go To!

I’ve tried almost everything on their lunch special and they’re all pretty decent. It’s divey so you know exactly what you’re getting but not in a bad way. The lunch deal is great: about $9 for a meal over rice (or noodle dish) with either soda, soup, or egg roll. None of the food has a ton of actual substance (the wonton soup has two wontons, the meat dishes have much more rice than meat, etc.). Like that brown rice is not an added charge. Overall for the price, convenience, and speed, it’s a great lunch option if you’re in the area.

I’m sorry but we will never come back to this Chinese restaurant. It’s frustrating when dishes don’t meet expectations, especially when it comes to the portion size of key ingredients like meat in a chow fun dish. They need to improve portion sizes, customer satisfaction and quality.

Horrible and disgusting. We ordered 3 dishes with meat. In each dish, there was hardly any meat. Yes, I know Chinese cuisine usually has more vegetables than meat, but the portions of meat in these dishes was basically criminal. I will never go back.

Google reviews is a fraud. There’s no way this place deserves 4.5 stars. My sesame chicken was quite possibly the chewiest worst chicken I’ve had in my entire life. Not to mention how soggy it is. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!!

I ordered a sm beef and broccoli $7.75. It had 1 little slice a beef in it. I called back and was told beef is expensive. I ended up paying for raw broccoli. This place skimps on everything. Don’t go here! Never again!

Review is on the food quality more than the service. Sure the lady is indifferent, no smile greeting or thank you, but I didn’t expect much from them. I had to get my contractors lunch and out of convienience I went here and got lunch specials of beef teriyaki and chicken with garlic sauce. The beef teriyaki had 4 slices of beef, and the entire plate was just rice and vegetables, huge waste for 8 dollars. The chicken and broccoli was the same, my contractors were still hungry. The food tasted bland, which I’m not surprised as there was one guy cooking it and looked like he didn’t care. I hope I never have to go there again.
