Reviews
While the ambiance of the shop was aesthetically pleasing and well-designed, it appears ill-suited for attracting a clientele that typically earns over $100,000 annually in Northern Louisiana. Unfortunately, the quality of cigars available does not justify the high pricing structure. Regrettably, I will not be returning to this shop in the future.
Southern Smoke Cigar Lounge is the definition of chill and classy. The vibe is unmatched—cozy, welcoming, and full of good energy. But what really made the night unforgettable was the bartender. Thank you, Kaylin. The service was truly 100 out of 10—attentive, friendly, and made one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. You can tell they care about the experience and not just the pour. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind with great cigars, top-tier drinks, and even better service!
My friends and I experienced what felt like racism during our visit to this lounge. After two white gentlemen left, the bartender, Kailyn, abruptly rushed us to close our tabs and put us out, even though we still had about an hour and a half left according to the lounge’s posted hours.
There were five of us, all buying drinks and enjoying cigars while celebrating a friend’s birthday. Unfortunately, he did not enjoy his first visit, and this being my second time here, I was equally disappointed.
Kailyn had been socializing with the other gentlemen, but after they left, she began saying she’d had a bad day and wanted to go drink with her friends. That behavior, along with how she treated us, felt extremely disrespectful and discriminatory.
The cigar community is supposed to feel like family. This experience was the complete opposite. As long as Kailyn is working here, neither I nor anyone from our cigar circle will support this establishment.
I am deeply disappointed and currently looking for a new lounge where respect and inclusivity are valued. I truly hope this is not what this lounge stands for. If it is, I am disappointed in all of you as well.
