All the locals now this Dairy Queen is the best place for ice cream and if your passing through town make you to stop by, you will be met with a smile and small time charm from the workers. The truly care about their community, what other food establishment showcases pictures of current and former workers like in a highschool yearbook.
Just this past Saturday (9/2/25) they offered roll back prices to 1985 and brought back many former workers just to handle the large crowds and if that wasn’t enough also held a no hands banana eating contest, so much fun!

I come here every time I visit my family in St. Mary’s. Even when the lines are long, I never have to wait a long time to get my order. The staff do a great job of getting orders correct the first time. The options are plentiful, and prices are good. Great ice cream place to enjoy in the warmer seasons!

Took the family out for a nice cold treat. There were 5 kids and 3 adults. This dairy queen seems to always be packed. However, the people that work here are extremely quick with service and always very happy to help with any questions. Even though they are extremely busy, they still treated us with a smile, talk to the kids while handing them their ice creams. Always a pleasant experience here! Definitely recommend stopping here.
The only 1 thing that would make this place better is a bigger parking area, and more seating. However the service makes you forget how crazy the parking lot can be lol.

Awesome place to grab lunch or dinner. So much better than McDonald’s. Their chili cheese dogs, grilled chicken salad and grilled chicken sandwiches are great. Not to mention the banana cream pie blizzard ❤️ Only wished they stayed open all year long oh and wish they still had the potato skins as they were the bomb too!!!

Long standing tradition to get Dairy Queen as soon as it opens and end up sick to your stomach because your gut hasn’t adapted to soft serve yet… fun times. Good service. No dine-in but considering this place opened in the 80s and is still there you know they’ve been doing something right
