The service was great at TuscNY. Went there for lunch today with my brother. I ordered a small cheese pizza with thick crust. The crowd was very minimal for lunchtime. This was my first time eating here. I was not impressed with my pizza. There was very little cheese on my pizza- despite the fact that it was a cheese pizza. Mostly it was just sauce with very little cheese. The underside of the crust was very overdone almost burned and brick hard.
I’ve eaten a lot of pizza in a lot of different places/ states and lived in Italy for 3 1/2 years where the pizza was divine. This pizza was just meh.

The pizza is good, tasty and an ok price. (Edit: NY isn’t a super cheesy style with strings of cheese, light cheese, light sauce, still good.) The staff was excellent, never saw a cell phone (and I was there at a slow time), and while associates did talk to each other, they didn’t gather. Professional interaction only. THAT is impressive to me. Nice relaxing atmosphere. A small bar inside just begging for regulars to meet here, while being obviously family friendly. Someone has put together a nice pizza “bistro.”

There is something iconic about a New York slice. No disrespect to other pizzas, but it is what I grew up on and after searching for the past 20 years, I’ve finally found it right here in Tuscaloosa. TuscNY Pizza has the taste, texture, and foldability of a perfect NY slice. We ordered a large cheese because there are no toppings to mask the taste. It was truly perfection, we shook our heads the whole time we ate, not believing we’d finally found the taste of Little Italy in a clean, cute Alabama pizzeria. We also ordered cheese bread loaded with garlic and it was delicious. The dough was perfection and could have been sold as its own product. Topped off with two wonderful cannolis we were already discussing our next trip. Did I mention we got the large cheese and it was so big we had enough leftovers for the kids at home. Reheated in the oven at 375 for 10 minutes it was as fantastic as when it was fresh out of the oven. TuscNY fed my soul not just my stomach. I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you, Josh and Dalton.

It wasn’t hot and it was far from delicious!
Uber Eats delivered it over 30 minutes late because they picked up another order. I’ve had lots of cold pizza, but this was terrible. No sauce or cheese. Crust was uneven. We threw it out. Feel free to use my picture for future advertising. LOL.

TuscNY Pizza is serving some serious slices in Tuscaloosa . We ordered a ”Death by Pepperoni” and Margarita Pizza. Our server was super helpful and suggested adding Hot Honey to the Pepperoni. Game Changer! I can’t recommend this combo enough. Both pizzas were great and the service was phenomenal . This is a must stop for pizza in Title Town!

My daughter is a student at UA and said that she has heard that TuscNY had the best pizza in town. We decided to stop and give it a try. Not only is it the best in town, it is likely the best pizza I have ever eaten. Plenty of toppings, the crust is delicious, and the employees are friendly. The price point is a little high but it’s worth every penny. I highly recommend the pepperoni pizza with hot honey drizzle and the cheese bread.

I’m from New York and this is the closest I’ve come around here to getting pizza that’s like NY and I even think they cooked it better! The bottom has a nice crust and not floppy and the flavor is awesome. We did plain cheese. I will say the dessert kind of sucked… I think it was old and not fresh. Spent way too much on dessert for it to be that bad but the pizza was great and the sweet tea was great. This will be our new pizza spot! Great staff too very friendly and attentive! Didn’t take long to get our food either!

Finally got around to trying this pizza, and it was worth the wait.
I will start by saying it is a little overpriced. It was over $60 with tax and a small tip. We ordered a 12in Death by Pepperoni, 12in Margherita, a Cheesy Bread, a fountain coke, and a couple ranches.
That said, I thought the pizza was great. While what we got was advertised as NY-style, I wouldn’t call it that. Definitely it’s own thing. Not enough flop or chew for NY style, not enough of a crisp undercarriage to be a bar-style or Italian style Neopolitan. Somewhere in the middle. But the flavor was good. You can tell that the pizza sauce, marinara (for the cheesy bread), and the ranch are all made in house. All great. They definitely didn’t skimp on the pepperoni for the Death By Pepp (as they shouldn’t). Margherita was simple but had good flavor. Cheesy bread was tasty but basic. Probably wouldn’t get that one again. The marinara that came with it made it.
Our kids loved it too, and for a town with VERY few options for good pizza, this is definitely a spot I’ll be going back to.

So very disappointed , the pizza had barely any cheese at all !!! I paid $45 for 2 , 12 inch puzzas one cheese and one pepperoni , and a cheese bread . I don’t mind paying more money for good homemade authentic pizza but this was ridiculous. I will post pictures. So dry !!! Will not be back !

Delicious pizza with the freshest ingredients. Don’t skip dessert! Very comfortable atmosphere. Perfect for date night or a family meal. Everything was tasty! We tried the meat pizza and cheese pizza, New York style. Loved both. Will be back!
