I love love thus spot. The food as iT should be. The flavors are traditional just like in Mexico but with out the airport, plane, immigration and taxi. Prices are just. All the meats are fresh and delicious. Everything at this place is on point. I wish it was not that far. I always stop by this place when I am on my way to burning man. A great place to start a great adventure.

If you are looking for the best Mexican food in Fruitvale, look no further! This family has been operating one of the highest quality food trucks in the area (of the same name) for over 20 years so it’s no surprise their new storefront is excellent as well.
Their burritos are top notch – flavorful with the right balance of ingredients. Their tacos, tortas and sopes are very good as well. Every component is well made and never are any corners cut. Neither the beans nor the tortillas are made with lard. Fantastic homemade tortillas.
Several available dishes are not listed on the menu at the moment, including enchiladas (three fillings), soups (pozole and caldo de res), and dinner plates (see photo).
For dessert the serve Loard’s ice cream and also have both jugos and liquados. What more could you ask for?!

Same folks as the excellent truck of the same name. Incredible tacos, always perfectly crisply cooked meat and delicious salsas (tripas tacos especially good). Nice clean seating area for when you prefer to eat in.
