This is that hole-in-the-wall Chinese spot your grandpa used to rave about and it still is. Been here since the early 90s for a reason! The sear and smokiness on the fried rice I got was to perfection and it was the old g-ma that cooked it, very legit American Chinese cuisine

We’re from out of town and decided to order takeout. We ordered late at night before they closed. The reviews seemed to make this out as a decent place. The food was burnt. The order of wings were wet and soggy. There was a hair in food. The food Looked nothing like in the pictures, and we ordered $104 worth of food for our family of 10 and it was practically inedible. We tried to eat it but it was so burn, so black and so disgusting. The lo mein noodles were so thin and unlike any lo mein we ate. The pepper steak was incredibly dark and drowned in thick sauce. We’re highly disappointed, and we’re left scrambling to order food. Couldn’t even complain to the owner about our food because they were closed by the time we got the food home. Unbelievably disgusting.

The Rangoons are stuffed with more meat than anything else which I loved. I also really enjoyed the flavor of the fried rice. The egg roll was ok, the orange chicken was good flavor wise but some pieces were dry. The interior of the place is very dated/ old/ unkempt and the area behind the counter wasn’t very clean or orderly which made me wonder about the state of the kitchen. I’ll be back for the rice, goons, portions, and flavor of the chicken. Also because it’s 3 minutes from my house which is convenient for me.

Let me start by saying the lady that owns this restaurant was there by herself at the time I went to order some food from wing hing. She cooked that food so good I told everyone about it. It’s so flavorful in every bite. Everything was cooked to perfection. She needs an award for best Chinese restaurant in Michigan. I live far from Pontiac but I wouldn’t mind taking a trip when I’m in the mood for some good Chinese food. Thumbs up to this woman for working alone that day with a waiting area full of hungry customers she was definitely getting the job done.

Some of these reviews HAVE to be fake because this food is crazy bad. I have never had Chinese takeout this bad before. I have never ever had orange chicken that looked like this or had this texture.

The only word that my husband and I could find to describe this food was “Meh”…. flavor wasn’t great. Meat was tough and chewy (brought the idea of it being cat or dog to reality). The fortune cookies were soft (stale) and didn’t even have fortunes in them but paid advertising instead…. we won’t be going back, unfortunately.
