We love this brewery! We hosted a baby shower here and the food was phenomenal. They have a great selection of beers and cocktails. The service is always great and the owners are super friendly. We are definitely regulars now

Weeknight dinner with friends. It was very hard to choose because they have a great menu! Service was good as well as the atmosphere- not too loud the night we went. They also have gluten free options!

Great place to stop for food off of the Perkiomen Trail when you’re out on a bike ride. They have outdoor seating on picnic tables. You can order outside and have it brought to the picnic table during the summer. The service inside has also been wonderful. The chefs daily specials are amazing, especially the Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Always get the daily special!
Edit 10/17/25 still five stars, but they need to clarify their tot ordering system when you’re ordering from the tables outside. We rolled up on our bikes off of the perky trail and used the QR code on the picnic tables to order some food. I went inside to make sure they got the order. They said yes. I really wanted the tots so I clicked the ad on $4 tots button with my wedge salad. Someone came down trying to say how they couldn’t do that but didn’t offer a solution. I said so do you want two more dollars for a $6 side tots and he said it doesn’t work that way. But didn’t say how it worked. I said so give me the four dollar tots and take two tots off a $6 side tot to make it a four dollar tots. He got frustrated and walked away and said he would give them to me for free when they weren’t really free, they charged me $4. Fix that tot business plz.

My sister and I stopped in for dinner after we both heard good things about TE. We were not disappointed. Its such an inviting and chill spot! Great atmosphere with a talented musical duo playing! We sat at the bar since we didn’t have a reservation which really seemed to annoy the woman at the hostess station but we didn’t let her ruin the outing. The bartender was so friendly and answered our questions in such a cheerful way it more than made up for it. My sister tried the halibut special and said it was great. I had the Trouble Double burger adding bacon, lettuce and tomato and I can’t explain well enough how fresh every ingredient on that burger felt. The bacon was definitely cooked to order, the meat was fresh and the lettuce and tomato were crisp. It came with hand cut fries that were awesome! We didn’t leave room for the A Lot of Bs Bread Pudding, but will absolutely be back if not just to give that a try! Side note; while we were there, a staff member was taking all the bottles off the shelves behind the bar and wiping them and the shelves down individually which was impressive! They run a clean, tight ship at Troubles End! Stop in for a chill night with great food!

Stopped by for dinner after stumbling upon this brewery near we were staying. They do accept reservations, which we didn’t have, but still were able to get a seat. Beers were good, everything we ate was fantastic. Service was quick and attentive. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the aesthetic reminds me of being in the south on the bayou in a dive bar.

I would add another 1/2 star if I could. My ONLY issue is that for a Sunday brunch, the house music was a bit loud. That said, the music mix was awesome, eclectic with some old/new, vwmery cool.

The food was terrific as was the service! My Wife had the Hey Smokey and it was delicious. I had something similar to the smokehouse Benny. Looking at the menu today the Benny shows poached eggs but was more like an omelet (see image) Maybe the recipe changed since a couple of weeks ago when we visited. Either way, my sandwich was really tasty!

The beer and cocktail menu is excellent, Impressive, yummy, experimental.

Looking forward to our next visit!

We made another visit and wow, it’s so worth it! I had a ribeye wrap and my wife had the grilled cheese with brisket. Both were outstanding. The wrap was really stuffed. The brisket was amazing. I have to pay a compliment to the chef on how perfectly the Texas toast was toasted, it was perfect!

Our server was very nice and had a lot of personality. The food and (delicious) drinks had timely delivery.

Just love it here.

We were there for a late lunch and again the music was a little loud.

Went with my family this morning for brunch and was disappointed. They had a new menu so we were excited to try it. It took us approximately an hour to get our food ( there were 5 people in our party). I got my daughter a side of pancakes. The outside of the pancakes were burnt while the inside of the pancakes were gummy (it was almost like the inside could’ve been cooked longer). We also asked if the cream chipped beef could be on the potatoes instead of the bread and were told no. But we were confused as someone else at the table ordered cream chipped beef and it came with a side of potatoes so why couldn’t the SOS just be on the potatoes instead? It just seemed like a silly thing to say no to. People around us were all getting their food way before us. The vibe of the restaurant and drinks are great but the service and food was a bit disappointing today.

I have this place a low rating because of how confusing it is to order food and drinks if you are outside. They have a QR code to scan but I does not tell you anything about the flavors of the beers just the name and price. The food is confusing to choose from and you have to pay for each order separately you can’t keep a running tab open. My friend ended up just going inside to order everything while I stayed with the dogs.

The food was decent. Good flavor and the fried are delicious! Another customer said they make them to order right from the spud. The burger had great flavor as well.

I decided to stop in here on a whim while away in PA on a weekend trip, and I was pleasantly surprised! Rather than fall into the same pattern as many microbreweries these days by being one note and bland, Troubles End Brewing was a delight. The Brewery is located in a complex that requires you to walk up stairs making it feel like you are on your way to a rooftop bar. The restaurant was decorated for the holiday season, and it gave off a cozy, wintery vibe. I went with my sister on a Friday night around peak time, and we did not have trouble getting a table for two. The wait was about 10-15 minutes, not bad at all, and it provided time to take in the ambiance and peruse the extensive draft list. Service was friendly and prompt. We shared an appetizer of the loaded tater tots, and we both ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with Cooper American and house made cheese sauce. I tried both the Kith n Kin Dinkel Lager and the Tullamore Dewd Dry Oat Stout. The Dinkel was nice, but the Dewd was one of the smoothest drinking stouts I have ever had. My sister had a glass of Prosecco because she dislikes beer, and there was a nice looking cocktail menu for non-beer drinkers. The restaurant was set up for live music, and we got to be entertained by the first song before we finished up our meals. We did not hang around, however, if I had more time I would not have wanted to leave! The restrooms were clean and nicely decorated, and there is a separate tasting room downstairs on the way out of the Brewery. I made sure to pick up a four pack as a gift before I left. I would definitely recommend stopping in for a drink or two at Troubles End, and I will be back next time I visit Collegeville.

Awesome experience. The menu is extensive and eclectic and not just the usual boring pub fare. Service was top notch. The staff was attentive and right on top of everything. The food was simply delicious, perfectly prepared and well presented. All in all a terrific experience and highly recommended
