So glad to finally make it here. I called for reservations and they were very helpful. Food was yummy. Guacamole chips seemed freshly made but not sure about the guacamole. I had a scallop risotto dish for $32. 4 scallops with heavy sharp parm risotto. We also ordered a seafood fettuccine dish that was delicious. Espresso Martini was yummy.

This was our first visit and it was pleasant. The food and drinks were very good. The staff was very friendly. It was fairly quiet when we got there for a Saturday night and the start of the service was very slow but it ended great. My biggest criticism: the dining chairs. They are metal, very uncomfortable, slippery, and a normal size bum cannot fit comfortably in the chairs whatsoever. I would suggest maybe swapping them out for something a bit more comfy.

I stopped at this restaurant for dinner. When I arrived I parked in their lot. I walked in and was greeted! The staff was great! The place was cozy! I ordered with Ava and had:

Pig Iron Old Fashioned
Thursdays 1/2 off wine bottles
Grilled Chicken Wings
Cacio e Pepe Primavera & Shrimp
Salmon
Apple Crunch Cake

They had 1/2 off wine bottles as well! I loved the old-fashioned and the pasta dish! It was a good time in this restaurant!

We have visited this tavern a number of times and have always been happy with the food, service and atmosphere. This time wasn’t so great. The atmosphere still good. But the service and food was subpar. We arrived and were seated immediately. They were having a pretty good night but there were a few tables open. Our table got set up pretty quickly so off to a good start. But then we were left waiting. After a while, someone came by to ask if our server had been by. We answered no and she came by shortly after. I ordered the open roast beef platter and asked for the bread on the side. My wife ordered the chicken marsala. We then waited ….. For a long time. Server didn’t come by once. We apparently looked like we needed help because the owner came by and asked if we needed anything. We said we were wondering what was going on with our order and he went to check. The server came by shortly after and said the owner was taking care of our order and it would be right out. When our meals came out, I asked if our order had gotten lost. She answered no awkwardly. By this time most of the diners had left so there was just a couple of tables left. My roast beef was served without the bread but I was told it was coming right out. I waited a while and it didn’t come out so I had to ask again. It came quickly after asking the second time. I didn’t like my dish all that much. Both dishes were extremely salty and the impression I had was that our meals were plated, left waiting to be served for a long time and then reworked when we questioned what was going on with our order. The polenta was stiff and salty.

Maybe it was bad luck. The table behind us said their meals were great. We may try again.

Absolutely delicious! I’ve been here a number of times- definitely recommend! The food is delicious and the service and atmosphere are wonderful! Last time I had the french onion soup and the slow stewed meatballs. A perfect meal for a cold winter day! Definitely recommend coming here- every meal I’ve had here has been delicious!

My family and I had dined at Miner’s Apron and absolutely will be back. From the moment we walked in we were greeted promptly by the hostess who sat us immediately.

The owner welcomed us after a few minutes of sitting down and gave us great food recommendations (he wasn’t overbearing and seemed very genuine – you could tell he really cares about his restaurant).

FOOD:
We had ordered rigatoni bolognese, blue cheese burger, and the seafood risotto as entrees. All came out piping hot, made to order, and at the same time. I had asked for my scallops to be made well-done and they were perfect. We had the clam appetizer which was spicy but really good! We also had the French onion soup which was fantastic.

DRINKS:
My mom had a speciality cocktail and said it was really good, and they had plenty of options for beers on tap.

Our only negative feedback is that the chairs are uncomfortable and that it is a little loud.

Overall we’ll be back! We had a great experience and even better food!

My wife and I went here for dinner just the two of us. She had the brussels sprouts special as an appetizer and was it amazing. I had the crock of clams with the toast, which was so flavorful it popped in your mouth. She had the minor blue burger. It was cooked perfectly and was a very good meal. I had the pork chop special, which was to die for. Vinny did a great job by stopping at the table explaining how he was cooking the pork chop and all the ingredients that went into it. He stopped by after I’ve had a few bites and I told him it was amazing. The flavors were just perfect. Had a great night will definitely be back again.

The staff are super friendly and attentive and the food was very good and flavorful.
We really enjoyed their blistered shishito peppers appetizer. The ranch sauce pairing was on point! For entrees, we had the fried chicken thighs and cavatelli. Both were very delicious! Go check them out. We will surely will be back again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I cannot say enough amazing things about The Miner’s Apron! From the moment we walked in, everyone was so warm and friendly, which set the tone for the evening. The food was absolutely outstanding, truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.

The French onion soup was out of this world delicious, the grilled chicken wings were perfectly seasoned, and the hanger steak was cooked to perfection. To top it all off, the apple crumb cake with ice cream was the perfect sweet ending.

This restaurant is such a hidden gem, you can really feel the pride and care that goes into every detail. Huge congratulations to the owner Vincent on creating such a wonderful establishment.

I’m so happy to have found this spot and can’t wait to come back!
