This was my first time eating here tonight. Ordered my food online and went in to pick up. There’s no one dining in at the time (it is pretty chilly out). It’s setup Chipotle style. I went directly to the end at the register/pick up line. I waited behind a gentleman finishing up. Another guy rushed in and went to the counter showing his phone and said he’s picking up an order and someone assisted him. Didn’t bother to say there are people ahead of you or at least address me and ask for my pick also to work on them at the same time. He may have been doing door dash or uber eats. Either way, I also had a pick up and it should be first come first serve. So first impression wasn’t great. Overall the food tastes good, just very dry. The beans seemed like it was exposed to the air for a long time and was just a mound of whole beans. I got the Tres Tacos Callejon with my protein of choice being Al Pastor. Flavor is there, just seemed like it stayed on the heat for too long. My family also had cheese dip, loco burrito and quesadillas, which were good. I’m sure with it being a slow night as it was, maybe that’s why the food was not all up to par.

Was a horrible place to eat at. I could eat at a Mexican restaurant right down the road and it is far better than this. Also the Mexican food tasted as if it was there since yesterday. Also our food was served on paper plates? My mother spent $77.00 for this. We will never come there again and I hope others read this.

EDIT: We have been back several times since our first visit over a year ago and the quality, quantity, and service has never disappointed. The amount of toppings and variety of menu items goes far beyond the typical burrito, taco, nacho, and quesadillas you see at a taco truck. Also they now serve $5 margaritas that are worth every penny.

Cute clean atmosphere! The two employees that were at the front putting our nachos together were very nice and accommodating. This was our first time here and we didn’t expect the “chipotle” style ordering but their menu includes more than just the things you see up front. We definitely will be back and we are ready to try the rest of the menu!

The first thing you’ll see is a VERY pleasant environment with excellent decor! That is a great intro to the amazing food that is MADE TO ORDER. Their Nachos Fiesta is excellent as well as their Street Tacos. Can’t wait to come back to try a different menu item. The pricing on the menu items was VERY reasonable. I suggest giving this place a try. Just may become your new GOTO Mexican cantina!

This place was a very nice surprise! It kinda looks like a chain, decor wise and the way it’s laid out inside but it appears that is isn’t.
It’s more of a fast casual type place than a full service restaurant. Admittedly, I wasn’t expecting a order at the front type place. Not a negative, just not what I had anticipated. The ladies working at the front were very helpful and friendly when I was giving my order and had questions.
The highlight for me by far was the quesa Birria tacos! They were sooooo good!! Fresh, crispy shell, lovely Birria sauce. I really am impressed!
The guac was also good! Salsa was ok, not my favorite. The kids liked their nachos and quesadilla.
The margaritas are served in plastic cups which was a first for me lol. Not my fav marg flavor wise but decent for the price.
I’d say give it a try if in the area. The quesa birria tacos are sooo worth trying! I’d come back if I was in the area for sure.

Great helpful staff, smiles all around. Amazing authentic food, all of the other Mexican restaurants I’ve been to… they taste factory made… BUT abuela hooked us up! It honesty was just a great little spot to hangout and eat. They are alcohol friendly. I cannot stress this enough, the food was so damn delicious. I will be back!!! (I haven’t ever given a review on a restaurant but I felt the need to explain why this place was so good)

Since it was Margarita Day, I took my family here since we’ve never been. We all ordered nachos, which turned out to be delicious. You are allowed to pick what you want on your nachos from the ingredients that are at the counter. You can watch them build your nachos. That was awesome. What we came there for were the margaritas though. They tasted great and had just the right amount of tequila where you can taste the tequila but it’s not too strong. They have about 8 different flavors.
