We ordered our food to-go since we figured we wouldn’t finish it all in-house. They included cutlery, napkins, ketchup, and gloves (for mess-free hands) in the bag.
Such a fun, casual environment with K-pop videos playing in the corner! Also, I really love their Pay-It-Forward campaign where you can donate a meal to someone in need! Wish this was something offered in downtown restaurants where it’s more of a necessity.
The menu has many tasty choices:
Chicken Wings and Tenders: These are big, juicy, and covered in signature sauces like Garlic Soy or spicy Gochujang.
Korean Corn Dogs: These are fun snacks that are often filled with stretchy cheese.
Sides: You can try waffle fries, egg fried rice, or kimchi for a bit of spice.
Bao Buns: These are soft, fluffy buns filled with meat and fresh veggies.
One of the coolest things about this shop is their “Pay It Forward” wall. Customers can buy a meal for someone else and leave the receipt on the wall so someone in need can eat for free. They even have a sink in the dining area so you can wash your hands after eating messy wings.
The chicken sandwich was good but very messy with all the sauce.
The bimbi beef bowl was good but I felt like ratio of rice to everything else was off. Too much rice.
Service was excellent; she let me try the sauces before making a choice and I appreciated it.
The chicken burger with its brioche bun was a standout for me, and the decision to pair it simply with pickles allowed the flavors to shine. I appreciated the Coke Zero option too as someone who dislikes diet and avoids full-sugar soda and that tipping starts at 10 percent—though I was happy to leave 15 percent due to the great service.
However, I found the menu a bit confusing and overwhelming; it could definitely be simplified for easier navigation. The bao buns, while good, could use some extra attention to achieve that perfect moist, sticky texture. Additionally, having calorie information on the menu would be a great addition for me as it’s fairly easy to calculate and include and very helpful for those that depend on it. I also think the decor could use some flare, and perhaps some music. Despite these minor issues though, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would recommend this place for anyone looking to explore delicious Korean Fried Chicken with a variety of unique flavors.
Food was amazing, I loved the fried rice and honey gochujang flavored chicken wings! And even with it being an order at counter restaurant, the service was AMAZING too! We were checked on numerous times and the (what I believe to be) owner even brought our son a new order of wings because the ones he ordered were a little too hot for him plus a complementary dessert!
We will definitely be back and everyone should go try them out too!!!
