This place is always clean which I love. Their snacks are well priced. My family enjoys going here. Their fresas con creme, pink leche, ice cream cone, fruit bowl, and elote en vaso never disappoints. They do have an area for a large group. We’ve gone in a group of 11.

I tend to go to the parasol every time I go either shopping or sometimes that I’m just passing by and I always stop there to get a corn, an agua Fresca and some snacks for me, my mom and my daughter. It’s a routine that I have with them. However today it was not a welcoming visit from the staff there. There was this lady that gave me my items and she was a sweetheart. However the guy that took my order, his name is Javier, either he was not having a good day or he thinks he knows it all and he treats you like if he is the owner of the place.
I know you must be tired but there is no need to tear people in a bad way. If you are tired, take a breather or tell someone else to cover for you. First of all, we were not even in front of the window for someone to start taking the order because the truck that was in front needed to get more to the front. Javier started taking our order, even though we were far away from the window. This “Javier” guy, seem like he didn’t wanted to take my order, I ask for the aguas frescas flavors and he told them to me really fast, I was hoping for my mom to hear the flavors and I ask if there was an agua of a lot of fruits and he said “no just the ones I just said” he didn’t even bother to repeat them for my mom to hear. That led to me forgetting to ask for an agua fresca for my mom because of how he wasn’t even trying to help. I started telling him of what else I wanted and go to the next window after I paid already. The nice lady from the pickup window was patient enough to give me my items and as she was giving them to me I ask for my moms agua fresca that I had asked for and asked for the price, she said $4.50, and I asked her if I could still buy it and she nicely says yes and goes to get it, when “Javier” comes and opens the window and rudely asks me what else I wanted, I told him an agua fresca and he says $5. I say ooh she said it was $4.50. And he continues and tells me “no, she doesn’t know about prices” being kind of rude.
I could of paid $10 for the agua Fresca, or whatever the price is, I really don’t care about the price because that snack place the parasol is the one that I often go, what I do care about is getting that type of treatment from them. I understand that probably it was not his day, however there is no need for someone to treat you bad. Hope next time we go which is going to be soon because my mom and my daughter like the snack place, the Javier guy is in a much better mood.

Good customer service, quick and simple. Most snacks were good but the tamarindo raspa tasted a little off, everything else was perfect though, overall a great option for a fast snack with great prices.

Friendly customer service and love the variety of snacks/drinks. The corn is really good, not canned corn like other places. The topo Chico preparada is yum yum and addicting. I’ve gone to Xquinkles and other places, and this place is the best for the corn and Agua preparada, plus the add pickles and peanuts.

Never stop here again. Ordered a mineral water without the Clamato. But they didn’t follow the customers order. Instead they did it their way. Told them that the person drinking it is allergic to seafood products. This person got very sick. I do not recommend this place due to the employees not following instructions. And yes they do make it without Clamato. It is on their menu.

The hot Cheetos and cheese came with corn inside. I have never tried it like that and it tasted so good. I got a snow cone with gummy bears and Chamoy on it and it tasted good. Customer service is OK. They’re really straightforward and a little impatient.

Everything we ordered here was sooo good! The melon agua fresca was so refreshing! The elote in a cup was one of the best ones I’ve had from any snack place. Their faji nachos were great, came with fajita, avocado, sour cream, jalapeños, and pico.

I have been coming to parasol for years. I love the marranada. Today was different. I was given it with cream which I hate and when I told them they said it always comes like that and I continued saying that I have never received it that way. They refused to fix it and didn’t even bother to make it right. The girl claimed she is in charge and they put it all the time and wanted to argue. Like why? In the end I went in and left it on the counter for someone else to enjoy. Loss of money and now I have to find a new snack place. So sad and disappointing.

El Parasol has officially lost its charm. The
quality has steadily declined while prices have gone up. No matter what I’ve ordered whether in 2020 or now in 2025. El Parasol continues to disappoint. Sadly, it’s no longer worth it. Be prepared to spend well over $40 if you come with your family and order a decent amount of food, only to leave with what feels like the employees’ leftovers.
Disappointed every time.
